Our guest today is Garrett Galván, who did a scouting trip last February to develop our Northern Vietnam Motorcycle Tour that is now in operation. First tour has already sold out. Very timely and good information. I'm signed up for your April tour departing from Hanoi. I was in south Vietnam 4 times approximately 15 years ago on business (Ho Chi Minh City). Loved the country for many reasons, but I'm super pumped for the north Vietnam moto tour with you guys. Garret, will you be joining? Cheers!

Hahah Shake and Bake. Awesome name. Also awesome you’ve already been to Vietnam on numerous occasions and want to explore more. Great motorcycle routes in the North with amazing views along the way. I’m here now and will be on the March tour but unfortunately I have a family trip in April so I won’t be able to make it 😢 but Ngoc is a hoot and he’ll be the trip lead in April. -Garrett
When in Vietnam size on road rules, and bikers are low on the level compared with HGV’S, vans and even cars. Stay safe and be aware

An american IDP is NOT recognised in Vietnam, there fore driving without a Vietnamese licence is illegal.

Technically that is correct but my experience was they were okay with my IDP and from my research that is what I needed to at least have the best chance of being compliment. They stopped me and asked for my IDP, nodded and let me go. - Garrett
