Learing that you are enough by yourself is not just for single people. I feel like even in a relationship you need to find peace at being yourself first and never loose that.
Only Jesus can really fill that 'hole'. Everything else is temporary and superficial. I've been single for 10 years and God has kept me.

@@damarlswanjlru6935 no. To be clear I didn't intentionally choose it to be 10 years but that's what's happened. I'm 31, I believe by virtue of being single and celibate these last 10 years, I've avoided a lot of recklessness that comes with the age between 20-30 as you discover who you are. Haven't had to take contraception, worry about pregnancy and STIs, no baby daddy drama and not to mention soul ties. I'd say in many ways,I have been spared a lot. I'm a Christian so that informed my decision. My initial decision was to keep myself until marriage and it still is. Of course I see others get married and have kids and want that too but I want it the right way, the God way. So I'm enjoying my singlehood working on myself(that's something else I noticed was lacking in my previous relationship. I experienced trauma as a child and kept putting that burden on my partner. I'm still healing but in a much better place than I was before.) I've made peace with my decision and if I don't get married, although I do desire a Godly union, there's so many children that deserve love and I will adopt. However, even within that I will maintain my celibacy journey because I obey God and it has never failed me. As a Christian I've come to learn that anytime you obey God, you gain more than you lose and that's how I intend to live.

I love Jules..she is very authentic,Lydia ❤ she has good energy...wisdom..
This didn't feel like a podcast episode but a conversation among friends. This was lovely, can't wait for part 2❤
❤Feeling enough feels like a tree that produces apples and other people benefit by plucking the apples and eating them. If you were a tree, what are you producing? If nothing, check your soil, climate etc, not another tree. Hope that makes sense to whoever needs it. On cheating...it's just a concept, if you buy a tap for your kitchen and it gets spoilt, replace it, if you don't you'll get dehydrated. So some men and women cheat to fill their cup, they don't want to fix their tap...on that note, you can't fill someone fully, they have to fill themselves first. That's what being enough is to my level of understwnsing. Unlearning alot of those things we learnt is the work.
This good conversion. Being single is not easier thing.i lost my wife and it has not been easier but i thank God I am born again. God will led me to right person suitable wife for me .
Jules and Lydia should start up a podcast❤️❤️❤️what a combo goodjob🎉
I loved it here. Thank you Sharon K ❤. Lydia my darling, always a pleasure! Jules xo

I am 26 and I relate so much to Julia. In a job I don't love and so lonely but I'm so adamant on quality over quantity

@liliankamau5164 I understand what you mean. I just got a new job a few months ago and Imposter syndrome has been real. So i have been feeling so down and lonely since I moved to a new town. To make it worse I am going through a break up. So in short I know what you mean but i believe it gets easy with time.

Are all the 25 and 26-year-olds in the same boat? Cause I'm here too, feels like I'm moving but not getting anywhere! Sigh.
@28 the feeling of loneliness is a real giant. Self-doubt,,sleepless nights, tears ,,but then again realising that it is a phase that will eventually come to an end keeps me moving

I'm in the journey of singleness, and it needs a lot of commitment and discipline for you to find alone time, self-worth, self-love, and feel enough for oneself. Thank you ladies
I 100% related to this particular conversation The base of one allowing themselves get to the point of choosing aloneness/loneliness is never to get ourselves into something that will cost our peace of mind..and generally put our authenticity to jerpody We dont need to be fully healed to be in our next relationship, is such a game changer!
Jules, you have been my compass in the whole psychology/soul-searching and healing journey for a while now. I just want to say a big thank you to you.
Can't wait for part two🎉🎉This is wholesome!
Thank you for bringing Jules and Lydia.
Currently @23yrs old and your podcast has definitely impacted my future positively ❤ realising that I have the power to heal is the greates gift one can get
The best of Lydia and Jules. I feel healed coz it's like this conversation is for me.
I just love how they do not "perfectualize" their life,we all are definitely a work in progress....thank you for doing this
So amazingly to hear that authentic second point. I grew up without the extreme edification of marriage. I recently discovered that the whole concept of how marriage is like the" it" for a woman... Was learned in church/religion. Spiritual women really get it good on this one.
i love Lydia's wisdom.. Julia, i love her authentic self and how much i learn from her,😍😍 great work sharon
In a relationship, and I loved every single second of this. Woow, such gems, so beautiful. Thank you girls🎉
I wholly embrace such wholesome meaningful insightful conversations.... Thank you for sharing and being authentic in the process! ❤❤
Can't take my eyes off Lydia's jacket ❤❤❤

It was my first time coming across your channel. I enjoyed the conversation, it is relatable and I can’t wait for part 2😊. 🇿🇦
Powerful discussion, educational and eye opening. I like the fact that you share things that are hardly shared because we are scared of disgrace from our communities, I can relate to a lot of what you discussed.
This was a whole therapy session!!! Can't wait for part 2.
I love Jules. Jules, I love ya! Also, this is very wholesome.

Today's podcast was full of wisdom 🔥🔥🔥✨. Thank you ladies 🥰🥰🥰.
so much wisdom in just one video !! ❤❤
This is soo good, loved it Jules, Lydia following you religiously where you go ❤️❤️❤️
And two of my favourites are here Amazing times here today
This felt so therapeutic and such an eye opener!
Enjoyed the show!!! Indeed as a woman you need to figure out your self worth and what does self love look like to you before you betray yourself.
What Jules said is true. A healthy relationship can help guide you heal in so many ways. As much as therapy can be useful you still need some training ground to see if you've truly healed.
When love finds me again, l want it to find me submerged in my own love....Lydiaaa😢😢
