Just bring more kitchen utensils and spices that you or your mom using for everyday cooking you will get MDH & Badshah masala from any India stores like VB ,Fudco and local shops.Kitchen utensil are more expensive than india here.plastic containers especially. Don’t bring too many clothes bcz when you move here you’ll buy and then there’ll be no use what you bought from india.

No, you can’t do any alteration from the shops you purchase. You need to go to a tailor/seamstress for alterations which is charged

Few houses here have iron with the property. You can anyways get it here second hand in cheaper price. If you have enough space then carry else no need

normal weighing scale se kar sakte ho. Pehle check your weight then luggage ko hath me lekar khade hokar total weight dekhlo. Then total weight - your weight will give you luggage weight. To cross verify you can go to local raddi wala shop.

On my first visit I never took anything other then medicine , cloths other then that everything is available. Not sure about other places but around london it’s fine. But now a days around Uk we do have some Indian shops even Asda and tesco keeps Indian grocery

Very rare. Because it's skilled worker visa. They want skilled workers here. Unless you have some documentation missing

Yes, you can't take oil or something like that, but you can take a water bottle of 100ml.
