This is by far the best trip video of Split I have so far seen on KZread - well done!!! Thanks for the google animations which give more insights of the locations and where they are actually are. (Seems you the only one who ever thought about bringing travel guides to the next level). I hope that the likes will go up as currently there are only 29 likes. Incomparable to the quality of this video that is shared. :-(

You are absolutely fantastic mate... we're currently travelling Croatia and I wanted to give you a heads up because we basically watched your videos on Pula & Rovinj and used your information (because it was so great) instead of our usual wikipedia search. Just found this and will visit all of these places in just 3 weeks time, going to have a trip to Brac as well. 2 years ago before the world went mad, my booked holiday was cancelled but luckily I kept hold of the flights. My wife and I stayed at Orebic and travelled up to Split via the islands. There was a free music gig right outside the British Embassy building one evening, so many people just chilling and having fun. We are super excited to be returning and truly love Croatia.

Thank you so much for this vid, very useful for our 4 day stay in Split! Bit more info - if you are going to Klis Fortress get the Line 22 bus from HNK bus stop (next to the Croatian National Theatre) - 13kn single trip and take about 30 minutes. You can probably do Fortress in about 1 hour. Also check the map for the beach - we followed the path and ended up at the port (a dead end). Waterfront amazing for drinks and snacks, inside the palace is the best but more expensive food. Highly recommended!

Great transitions with Google Earth Studio. I really need to dive more into that programme. Didn't know there was a ford nearby that was used in GoT. Seems my visit there was too short and I have to go back at some point.

Video is great, but when talking about Split people often miss very important thing that would match perfectly to this list. It's a sport. Split is arguably no1 sport city in the world "per capita". For example, did you know that first K1 tournament winner is from Split, Branko Cikatić. Also, officialy best Euro basketball club in 20 century is from Split, Jugoplastika. Split gave two of five Nba hall of famers from Croatia , Kukoč and Rađa, and a lot of champions in sport generally. You can check it all in museum of Split sports.
