@Forrest Ottawa is totally underrated. I think it is one of the best cities in Canada to visit. But I do love Alberta too. There are so many awesome things to do in Alberta outdoors. It's one of my favourite provinces. You are lucky that you have the opportunity to live in both :) I hope you make it home for a visit. Cheers!

😮 I felt really bad for Dave on that tube!! Looked like he had quite a bump! At least he was back up and up for doing it again. I went to Ottawa last winter but we were only there for ONE DAY! Would love to go back and see some more. Great video. 👍

Thanks! Haha, Dave always has bad luck. He broke his back in the Amazon, sprained his ankle in Ireland and has had some serious food poisoning in India. Luckily this time he came out unscathed save for a stiff shoulder. We were on the tubing trail before it was opened so they didn't have time to test it yet for the day. Dave ended up being the official tester. ha! And yes, you need more than a day for sure. We spent several days in Ottawa this winter and we still haven't done it all. Who knew there was so much to do!

I went to school almost a year in Ottawa. Miss everything but the coldness. Tried to learn how to skate but not succeed. Hahaha.

That's fantastic that you went to school there. Did you go to Carlton? It's much easier to learn how to skate when you are young. I was on the ice at 4 years old :)

This is a mix of downtown Ottawa and across the River in Gatineau. Both are easy to access with taxi, transit and during Winterlude there are free shuttles.

Downtown Ottawa, parking ticket hell. Parking tickets are still handed out during Covid, during lockdown, ticketing is regarded an 'essential service'
