Jacksonville is awesome I just moved here 2 months ago from Rochester NY first time visiting or coming to the state of Florida was only 5 years ago now for me. Very affordable place to live but one major thing I will note do not walk around or go out at night in Jacksonville without a gun you will regret it eventually. Great content.

I love Jacksonville Florida❤ I have lived here for 5 years and Jacksonville keeps getting better and better. After living in multiple areas in Jax I have figured it out. Like most large cities there are good areas and bad areas. Jax is a huge massive city land wise. I would say 40% of Jax is low income high, crime, and neglected "Bad" areas. These are near downtown on the Westside, Downtown on the eastside north of stadium, alot of east arlington, near St Nicholas... These areas are lower income or economically disadvantaged. Generally speaking the majority of the entire west side of jacksonville is lower income or lower middle class. Where is the best places to live then? If your family is making near or over 6 figures you would enjoy buying in a middle to upper middle class area you should consider Bartram, Communities in St Johns County, Mandarin, The Beaches Jax Beach, Neptune Beach, Atlantic Beach, Ponte vedra Beach, Generally anything East of 295 beltway toward the beach.

Jacksonville's original name was Cowford, as ranchers would "ford" cows across the river, near the Cow Muriel. Just saying! 🤓

The craziest thing the city empties on the weekends. Even restaurants are not open. Normally we like to film during the week for fewer crowds but jacksonville it is the opposite! Thanks for watching

Jacksonville downtown is growing but it’s not there yet! Many projects in the works. In addition, being the largest city it’s very spread out so it’ll never be jammed pack in one area unless it’s an event. Give Jax about 5-10 years and come Back, the difference will be evident.

@@famupicolo You are so right - there are so many areas of the city to explore. I wish they would finish the Friendship fountain. We have been 3 times but they were still working on it. Maybe for our 4th visit!
