Brač is the 3rd largest island in the Adriatic Sea, and despite being so near to Split the island isn’t as touristy as it’s neighbouring islands Hvar and Korcula.
From divine beaches, historical architecture all the way to the incredible nature with olive fields and vineyards, you won’t want to miss a chance to explore this island.
On my day trip to Brač, I caught the ferry from Split, using Jadrolinja ferry services.
I used the local bus service (Arriva) from Supetar - Bol. This is a one-hour bus ride.

Had the pleasure , courtesy of the British Army, of visiting Brac for 4 days adventure training , was on a tour of duty in Bosnia near Sarajevo , Kiseljak , which is ethnic Croat , as part of IFOR at the time , followed for me by mid tour leave. Pristine sea , very clear and stunning scenery all round. This was August 1996 and why have I not been back ?? I will return !!

Ya chem da probam da napitim ovo, moi mamino jesik ye, kad ya sam prochetal ovo samo sam chulla moi myka. Ona ye pevalla ovo svacki dan cad mesmo bello u brac, esvine zashto ya pishem i prechem slabo, ya ucim.

Ahhhh so nice! We're currently in Bosnia, but are making our way to Albania so won't be going to Croatia - it it looks so great with each video you make!

Hi!! We are going to Split in August and I have been watching vídeos trying to decide if we spend a few days in Brac or Hvar. I can't make up my mind yet! What part or Brac would you recommend to stay and what can't we miss in Brač?? Thank you 😊

Great video , which island would you recommend for someone who’s on a budget and looking for an authentic getaway, not as popular as Split? Lastly how expensive is Hvar in your opinion?

I haven’t visited in summer, but I would recommend going to Brač as Hvar seems like the most popular and probably more crowded.

Can anybody who has visited Croatia extensively please advise (generally speaking) if it's worth visiting the islands compared to the coast of mainland Croatia? I've been to Croatia myself 4 times so far (always along the coast) and found landscapes and beaches not too dissimilar to those I'm seeing on the islands videos here on YT, so I'm just wondering if it's worth taking the trouble of taking ferries for the islands, etc.
