During our stay, we had the pleasure of immersing ourselves in the rich cultural tapestry of Ninh Binh, choosing the luxurious Ninh Binh Hidden Charm Hotel & Resort as our home base. Strategically located near Tam Coc, this hotel provided us not only with a comfortable stay but also easy access to the wonders of this region.
On our first day, we stepped back in time by exploring Hoa Lu Ancient Town, the ancient capital of Vietnam, where historical marvels awaited us at every corner. The next adventure took us on a scenic boat tour through the iconic Tam Coc, where towering limestone karsts painted a mesmerizing backdrop. We marveled at the intricate architecture of pagodas like Bich Dong and Thai Vi, witnessing the spiritual heart of this enchanting land.
Our spirits soared as we embarked on a challenging yet rewarding hike to Hang Mua Cave, a vantage point that offered sweeping vistas of the surrounding landscape. The sheer magnificence of the natural scenery left us breathless, reminding us of the incredible power of nature.
Continuing our exploration, we visited the sprawling complex of Bich Dong Pagoda, a testament to Vietnamese artistry and spirituality. The intricate carvings and serene ambiance made this visit truly unforgettable. Our journey concluded with a serene boat trip through the picturesque waters of Trang An, where lush greenery and limestone formations created a tranquil paradise.
Of course, no trip to Ninh Binh would be complete without indulging in the local delicacies. We sampled the exquisite flavors of burnt rice, a traditional dish that showcased the culinary heritage of the region, and savored the tender, flavorful goat meat, a testament to the local expertise in gastronomy.

Thank you for sharing, I was in Vietnam 2 weeks ago, I stayed for 3 weeks an I didn't get to visite other places .there's so much to do.but next time I'll visit other parts of Vietnam.

Love the honest food reviews! On the Trang A boat trip, do you still see the rice fields and limestone mountains like the Tam Coc boats? Or is the scenery very different? Many thanks

We stayed outside of Tam Coc since it was close to the attractions we wanted to see

Definitely cheaper, but traveling with an 8 month old baby was more convenient with hotel for us

Beautiful. Unfortunately the small boat ride may be an issue for some. Hope there's a safer type of boat ride for the elderly.

Thanks☺️ The waters in Tam Coc is very shallow, but there is only one type of boat. You also have the option to rent the whole boat by your self at Tran An

Great video! Do you know if you can rent the whole boat yourself and take the ride to the temples but not go thru any caves? My wife is a bit claustrophobic. Thanks

@johnnythefox9407 thanks☺️ Yes at Trang An you can rent the whole boat, you have to buy 4 tickets instead of 2. I’m pretty sure that you also can customize your own route🇻🇳

Why would you go to Ninh Binh and stay in a horrible BIG hotel.????. That hotel could be anywhere.!!!. There are dozens of Fantastic Homestays in the area !!. CRAZY...

Well, we traveled with an 7 month old baby and for us it was more convenient to stay at a hotel rather than homestay
