**Seville local here**. Never heard of those scams. Or maybe I've never been a target. But I would advice to be aware of the gypsy ladies friendly giving you a branch of rosemary or any other plant and then trying to read your future from the palm of your hand. They'll "ask" for money afterwards and if you don't give them any, they'll literally put a curse on you lol They tend to be on the avenue next to the catedral and Archivo de Indias.

La Paela? Really? your mangaling of the Spanish disqualifies you immediately

I'm really tired of KZread "travel channels" using robotic, possibly AI-scripted narration, stock photos and stolen video, and knowing so little about the target cities that locals come in the comments to point out they've never heard of the things the video talks about!

Payella and Vallenseeya? I'd have thought this was narrated by AI if this was made more recently, sheesh.

And never say that it's too hot on the summer or that you don't like Semana Santa. They will get MAD!!

You can eat good paella all around paella. You know, the worst paella I eat was in Valencia. I am sorry, but I am spanish and I see you have no so much knowledge about Spain. You are so disrespectful talking about Spain.

Helpful without being frightening

I'm from Sevilla. I had never heard so many lies about Seville. Most of the scams that the video talks about are ridiculous, they don't exist. It's funny to see how when he talks about scams like the "three boxes" he uses images that are not from Seville, not even a Spanish city. That's not Seville 😂

A friend of mine got her wallet stolen from her purse. I had my wallet in my pocket the whole time.

Having to listen to Paella mispronounced so many times was brutal and I'm not even from Spain.

How about you learn to pronounce Spanish words if you want to do a video on Spain

1:03 most messed up pronunciation of paella that I've heard in my life. Da hell dude! Then 1:08 says "PALLELA". DA HELLL!!!!

Agree with you. How do you make a video like this and you don’t have a clue how to pronounce Paella.

You forgot to mention the freaking ladies handing you a "romero plant" to give you good luck. Once you accept it they will grab your hand and "read" your hand and so on... then, you want to tip them 1 Euro and they will get mad and make a scene about how offended they feel about how little you give them. They will demand at least 20 EUROS and if you don't, they will spell bad luck on you... PLEASE, PLEASE, avoid these ladies at all costs

If you are going to make a video about Spain AT LEAST pronounce things properly. Most of the info you share is incorrect. Sadly people will hear ‘ an American ‘ with no idea about Seville.
