Three times, I cried three times during four days of racing, that's a pretty good ratio if you ask me 😂. The nerves and adrenaline might have had something to do with it but I know that meeting Cecilie for sure did! I was shaking for most of the interview with her and then when it ended I felt a wave of emotion -- realizing how cool and down to earth these girls were in real life was oddly overwhelming and something I didn't expect.
On top of those tears of joy, there were a lot of moments that made me/still make me LOL, like the honesty in some of the interviews, getting rejected more than once, catching girls uploading to their strava, asking Demi Vollering if she notices when someone takes her QOM (which I almost threw up a few times doing) and just how relatable these pro cyclists are.
