BFN defintely isn't as good as garden warfare 2, but I still believe it was a great game that deserved better... As a different type of hero shooter from Garden Warfare 2, it stands out. The upgrade system is definitely fun to mess around with and it helps the game have its own identity. Also the single player campaign and the new cosmetics were really cool, especially the legendary ones. Sucks that bfn flopped, because I feel as if it couls have become something greater had it been marketed well and emphasized that BFN was a different type of hero shooter from Garden Warfare 2

Yeah, it just sucked they removed a lot of things that made garden warfare 1 and 2 great.

I just love how this game feels more fair than GW2. Sometimes I’d be playing turf in GW2 and it felt like there’s absolutely nothing I can do no matter what characters I switch to because they have max rank sweats running cheese strategies. But in this game, its almost like the character cast is so unbalanced that it actually reaches a equilibrium where every character can be equally OP. Because of this, all characters are really fun and can be tweaked to fit whatever playstyle someone wants. I once turned Rose into an offensive powerhouse and got over 80 kills in a Turf match lmao. The only exception to this rule is Super Brainz because Brainium Basher is just too overpowered, but even it has counters.

4:00 yeah so about that, there was a new plant being made, in fact it was almost finished. The Ice Lettuce frome pvz2 had a full model, animations and habilities but got removed cuz the game got discontinued

A super bean class was going to be added in as replacment but sadly just never got to finish it and was incredibly broken most of the bfn classes heavily parrael the other so super bean role been similar to the Wizard providing armor buffs and such.

I honestly really liked the Chat feature and emotes. You could befriend the other team at Giddy Park and have a great time chatting you know...

I actually like the game, I just wish there was more updates for stuff it actually needed.

Something that gave GW2 and advantage over BFN is that GW2 got support right until BFN’s release, allowing for more content and overall refinement for many years. BFN got 11 months. Looking at the first patch of GW2, it was definitely in a worse state than it is now. (cough cough, *ROSE*) So with that in mind, imagine BFN with an extra two years of development time, and it would have been a much, MUCH better game.

I think it's funny that bfn tried to balance sunflower by nerfing it's primary, but then they buffed its healing enough that a plant being healed almost can't be killed

Complementing BFN is quite the task. It's definitely something I can't bring myself to do, considering I reallly REALLY do not like this game

Tbh the only good things about bfn are the new characters, definitely the best new characters introduced in the series. so sad that they are not in an actual garden warfare game, I can imagine variants of them being so goddamn cool….

I would only like springting in GW3 if It had a limited bar and you stopped springting if you get shot

Another thing I like about neighborville (I also don’t really like the game overall) is our your teammates can body block you or your shots which is pretty nice

the title of the video is words that I thought I was never ever gonna hear ever about this game but I must say when they did nerf the beam in gw2 it became completely useless literally dealing 1 damage at far range and even medium range too so adding the charge up punch fist was actually a good Idea and actually making super brains actually good at range made him a lot better in my opinion

you should really give the swarm classes a shot, theyre a lot of fun and fast to level up with

Surprised you didn't mention the upgrade system, pve, and revive QoL changes. Also I kind of disagree with sprinting and chomper changes, although I think chomper isn't amazingly designed in GW2 nor BFN (and to be honest, every pvz game)

I feel like I disagree with the sprinting point, the slower nature of gw1 and 2 is part of the charm in my opinion, and one of the many things that set it apart from other popular shooters.

As a gw1/gw2 veteran that has never played bfn, looks like this game is good, but the thing that sucks is it looks like the maps are boring to play, the game style is also weird edit : the bfn exclusive classes look lit

If only they kept updating we could have gotten so much stuff like ice-berg lettuce.

Next video suggestion: top 10 rarest items in pvz gw2 there’s a LOT of very rare items that pretty much no one has including all the torchwood and hover goat skins and having all pvz heroes hats and all the boss hunt items and unicorn chomper also the 4 statues for Easter 2016 zackscottgames is the only person that has ALL of these items listed

Bfn is like slightly burnt popcorn. You will still eat the popcorn but it leaves a bad feeling in your mouth. And also sprinting peashooter with hyper could not be good. And also i feel like chomper and superbrainz dont need a shooting ability they literally are melee class. Honestly if bfn had variants it actually could be a good gw game.

I will main snap dragon because i could use it for throw attacks on mini boss hunts of adventure mode

Superised you didn't mention that this game hard punish players who commit suicide or respawn by granting you a kill if you dealt at least 1 damage to them also being able to see enemies HP is actually a step up from the previous shooter games

Bfn brought us 80's, which is the funnest character in the game by far, so for that, I'll give them a pass
