Something I recently found out, is at door 50 during the cutscene when it looks like figure is coming right at you, The Guiding Light knocks over a lamp to save you. If you look in the hallway that he went down, you can briefly see Guiding Light particles around the lamp on the ground.

One honored mention is rushing. People try to rush trough the doors without looting or letting the others loot. This will not only put everybody in risk, since rush can come, but also make everybody poor to buy anything in the store in room 52 and without itens that could help them later in the run. Ask your partners to not rush if they are unaware.

@@VPshandlewasstolen not what a complete newbie would probably do, but those just familiar with the game will tend to Rush, but they usually end up dying and/or getting everybody killed before room 50. A more experienced player is usually more chill and look back to see if the others are following

A tip about dupe: Ofc always keep track of the doors you enter once in a while, it will make your life a lot easier, but let's say you forget what door you are in, and it happens to be a dupe room, but you were too late to backtrack to see the previous sign, and you dont want to risk running into him: • *Do not run into random doors. Always be hesitant.* • *Real doors will always open from a distance, dupe doors will only open when you touch them.* • *If the doors happen to be locked, ask someone to check the key for you, if you are in single-player or just dont wanna go through the trouble, go back to where you found the key and see what number it has on it. As keys will always say the correct number for a door.* • *If you run into rush, he will automatically open the correct door. But if the doors are locked, he *WILL* backtrack like ambush so BE CAREFUL!!* • *Dupe doors emit a low growing sound, while normal doors will emit thunder/rain sounds or none at all.*

SUPER USEDFUL TIP FOR DUPE: if its a T shaped room and you CAME from either the TOP right of the T of left TOP of the T shaped room Its always STRAIGHT if you see a T shaped room again and you CAME from the BOTTOM of the T shaped room its always RIGHT if its the room where the RIGHT has an UPSTAIRS and another door STRAIGHT its always RIGHT ( vice versa for the left upstairs ) if you see a door STRAIGHT and another door GOING DOWNSTAIRS its RANDOM (Im not mad Im just capslocking the information so you dont get confused)

Rush at door 90-99 acts like the main villain the main villain always wants to kill the player 😑

Tips and tricks that have saved me a lot of time: If you stand next to the hinge of a door and it doesn't open, it's a dupe door. You can wait for guiding light to appear at door 100, just wait 2-3 minutes. In the minigame, turn on the numbers that the minigame says to turn on for the first 2 rounds, but for the third, turn them all on and turn off the ones it says are off. That way you're guaranteed to get the missing number. Don't waste time turning around in halt, walking backwards works. Seek is much easier if you remain calm. Nothing is ever as fast as it seems. There is a very small spot next to the door that figure cannot reach. Once you have all the books needed, you can hide in a small spot to the right of the door. Figure never goes there. Figure can go into one of the storerooms in door 100. Be careful. Ambush can have very long intervals between attacks. Make sure that he is gone before leaving.

Interesting, but pretty sad fact: vitamins no longer heal u, they are now just providing speed boost

I think they added a setting called force play,I guess it refers to how you didn't need to hold a key or joystick to run.(Also yeah save your crucifix for door 90 to 100 kids,It is the hardest part of the whole game and you need it.The snares and stuff are not that bad when you have the plant buff but if you don't have a candle,save it incase rush.also door 100 is hard,if you are new,You need it.)

One cool thing to know about eyes is that the hitbox in which you have to look at to actually take damage is above your camera when you look directly down so you can just look down and walk through him.

Fun fact (or not): the door number will not instantly disappear when you meet dupe, it'll be there in a couple second before it disappear

Nah rush is already hard for me cuz my device crappy make the lights wont flicker so i relies on sound when rush is coming

When you say "plant" in any future doors, call it "fern". You always have strange ways of calling things, like Screech is a Cacao Ball, and Timothy is a Damn Rat With Legs, so I feel like Plant as Fern fits right in!

Hints to u not die in door 100: Before you push the lever, is recommended you have a lockpick with u, so you need to open the door where have the power of elevator, after you open it, push the lever, when figure starts to go in ur direction, u dont need to go into a closet, you just need to go into the door where the power elevator is in, so the figure will try to enter in that room, but he cant do it, so he will give up, and you are safe (Yes, this work, i test it and 100% worked, this way is too op if you hate go into a closet and be forced to do the hartbeart minigame like me, this is too op!)

Observation: The Figure yes can enter on that room (but only if you resolve to make to much noise or getting near from him, if you enter on the eletrical room, i recommend you just walk while crouch or stay still until he give up)

Legend, for using your time by restarting over and over 👍 ⚡️

Tip: Since Ambush has gotten alot harder than it was before, you need to make sure you either have a cabinet infront or next to you while ambush comes. Also try hide near the false doors, vents and other places were you dont have to get into a cabinet, bed etc. So then you dont have to keep getting in and out of closets without dying.

I can confirm that Seek kills you now if you try that glitch. Tried it myself to see if the glitch still works when I did a run, Seek managed to kill me despite me hiding by a corner.

For the guiding light, his crucifix can only beat pretty weak entities. Ambush can sure noclip walls, but he can also come 2 times like before if the room is small.

Thanks the tips,i was dont know that dont numbered doors are working and its has chests inside it,i think i missed 43 in just 1 game.

When the update came, I instantly entered the game and started playing with my friends. After passing through many doors, I saw 2 and get into one. Unfortunately, I wasn't correct. I was so scared because of the jumpscare and I didn't expect a jumpscare.

Yes you can look on the door but if you don’t look at the door, and there are two doors you’ll forget the number because Dupe hides the door number. it’s really annoying 😭

If your with a new player and they survive the green house, they can use the crucifix on figure to find a good spot to hide (like in the room with the breaker) to wait until someone carry them though. This is just a thought, I've never made it that far with someone.

A not popular fact: dupe has a tiny hitbox, regular doors have a bigger one, you can check just by going close. Try it yourself :)

Fun fact! If you use Crucifix on Seek during end like if your doing chase glitch, seek won't kill you. This is because his hitbox is turned off while crucifix is active and he doesn't have a hitbox when running backwards. So you can still do seek chase glitch! Edit: Another thing is that I didn't know The Rift existed when I first beat new version, 3:08 , So now that's one less crucifix for future run. :(

If the chains go red when you use the crucifix on an entity don't think that you're safe, red chains only means it stuns them, blue chains means it banishes them.

Something I found helpful when dealing with Dupe was to go to the side of the door. If it’s the real door, it’ll usually open

The seek crucifix moment is so relatable, when the update came out, I played with my friend, then, he crucified seek, and we were flexing but then seek managed to escape and we both died, but we didn't go back, we were infront of seek flexing. True karma.

7:20 I think it’s because in door 49, the wall on the door 50 is too small for the original one that is big. Yeah, like that.

There is also a glitch where when you have this room 7:02 when you get the new room where that has chests it can clip in to the other room not letting you get the chest or chests

Guys I will tell you that if you stand beside the dupe door without opening it you will be able to hear the monster so be aware of that :D

This is just how I do it but for the greenhouse, I save 1 vitamin and 1 crucifix so I can use it on rush and speed away then hide again, speeds up the process a lot faster

Cruflix can be used to buy you some time when seeker caught you up. And it can be also used to distract Figure, when they surprises you.

Mistakes I made: picking the wrong door by accident. Mistakes my teammates made: Use the candle as a light source. Waste crucifix on easiest entities. Wasting skeleton key. Not looking at the flying cacao ball. Trying to rush door 50. Really, I enter a game with a full lobby and when I reach door 100, it’s only me left.

When door 50 appears as a long hallway that is a glitch the devs said they patched but its still happening

One time i got the skeleton key and then i was searching for the infirmery when i stumble upon a room with a locked door, i was curios to see if the key works on the lock and it actually worked! But when i unlocked the door with the key i soon realized that the infirmery was behind the locked door, it was more of an accident instead of a noob thing, i was just curios to see if the skeleton key works on a locked door okay?

I did the glitch on seek. I had to leave so I used the crucifix on seek while in a corner and watched him run backwards, lol. You don’t die, but you get trapped, so I lost like, 100+ knobs right then and there :’)

i didnt know during the chase it ran for you- i always held down on W thinking i had too. Now we do but before i didnt know that😭

You dont have to be afraid of ping, the crucifix also gives you an immunity to entities in front of you, so say ambus rushed towards you and you have high ping, the crucifix effect doesnt apply right away but ambush will go past you before getting clapped

Tips -If you find a small medical room, there is a crucifix on the wall and you can take it

Tip: You can sense dupe’s heartbeat by just going to the door and just hear noises from dupe and then just go to the other door and boom u can never get duped again

About the Door 50 being a normal door, it’s not a glitch, it’s a normal door because the room before door 49 is a duped room, making the way in door 49 to 50 look like a normal room.

You Can use candle when near end,it will Make blue particales when rush or screech Is near

Guilty on the crucifix seek thing, I just stood there thinking he would get dragged down but instead he broke the chains and killed me-

Since I went to A-1000, I use the scanner in door 100 to pinpoint where the breaker switches are. Afterwards I put the scanner back in the rift and then search for the switches. I also make sure to use a light source to keep eyes on Figure. This room is mostly dark so that’s why I used a light source.

A fact you didnt know; If you hear ambience, like shuffling and ect coming from a door, then it means its a dupe.

one thing i hate about the doors hotel update. People who need help literally beating the regular doors have to go through a harder doors, making them escape chance very low. There should be a mode where u go to Original doors and Harder doors

7:20 i also got glitch that seek didn't spawn till 50 door, like he didn't spawn at 30-40 but it's guaranteed

Tip for you and everyone is to not waste the a lighter if you open a door close your lighter for a second because you can still see the room the lighter is for finding snare

You can avoid Dupe without knowing the number of door, just increase your volume, get near to the door and listen. If you hear raining, or the door is silent, then it's the correct one, listen to the door where you might encounter Dupe, just listen closely, he will make some... horrific noises. That's just something you might have missed. If you don't belive me, try it yourself👍 (This might save you if you got low health)

One time seek just disappeared from the chase and I was free to roam. Also, one time he didn't spawn at all before room 50.

also, a glitch is, door 50 as a regular door, but a shocking glitch is not getting seek, and that’s happened

Something I noticed that's a tip against Dupe if you don't have a key that tells you the number or you don't remember which number is next. Stand close to the door don't try to go through just walk up to it and stand still standing by the door listen. The doors Dupe is behind actually makes a growling sound so all you need to do I get close to the door and listen you don't even have to be right next to it either if you're worried about accidentally opening it being in the general area of the door should still allow you to hear it you just have to listen carefully

I don't keep follow with door numbers because of this, I just strafe near the door, the right door opens at further distance than dupe. The boundaries are easy to spot if you test out with doors on stairs. Real doors open before the top/bottom. With dupe doors you need to get off the stairs to get rubber banded in the trap.

Thats why i dont just go into any lobby and i wait for pros to come

On door 100 the crucifix is really op not only it stun figure but if u know where to use it the figure will stuck at one place that litterly a guaranteed win

The sounds usually bugs for me and I can't hear Rush during doors 90-99. Usually a problem which is why I always bring the candle.

you can use crucifix on figure if you need to run edit: i think i'm the only one who knows that you can hear dupe if he's behind a door. it's a very dark ambient sound.

Fun fact : If u can't find the last book in door 50 just go to the door 51 which the lock is located, and try every last number, and I'm pretty sure figure won't come near when ur tryna do that.

The door 50 being a normal door has happened to me once. I was confused.

I mean the holding W(i'm actually mobile player so no inf on layouts) lol i thought it was normal walk but not a sprint(i'm noob even drastically)

A dumb thing happened to me and my friend in doors and i wanna share it. Door 88, no lockers, door 89, that super narrow hallway with the planked off doors, lights flicker, rush spawns. My freind and i both pop a vitamin to get to the next room, but i pop mine a bit late because i dodn't hear rush until he was super close. My friend whos in front of me has the crucifix, and runs back and uses it on rush, both of us barely surviving. THEN at door 100, (bear in mind i'm probably wrong, i'm just explaining it in a way i understand), figure somehow hears us in a safe area when passing by it. I died but somehow my friend survives. The best explanation i have f9r the firat one is that the game thought there was lockers to hide in because the very next room was the greenhouse. The best explanation i got for the second one, i think because we both moved at the same time, the sound was louder and figure heard it. Every time before that only my friend would move to get the switches in that area while i stay in the corner. All of this was in the same run.

i think ive asked this in another vid but how the heck do you make the numbers go backwards on the lock in door 50 ( 0, 9, 8, etc _
