Did you end up buying it? It is seems to get about as close as a razer blade, I think it helps using shaving cream. Although for me, it tends to miss some spots. I just got mine so might have to use a few more times to figure out the best way for me. But I had to go over some spots with a razer blade which sort of defeats the purpose but well see if this improves. Edit: I realized it's worth it since overall saves me money on razer and I like the feature the machine collects the hairs inside.

What's the difference between gold and platinum?

I think it's just the appearance and material, I think it also comes with a travel case or something, other than that the gold and platinum are the same

I think the number of blades you can get them with three or four blades and they got a single blade
