Good stuff my man. I'm just about ready for a new wallet and I'm having a tough time finding what fits my needs. I still carry cash for all of the reasons you stated and I do carry multiple denominations of it so I'm not stuck trying to break a hundred like you mentioned. Also for tips and such. I'm thinking I may wind up carrying a slim wallet on body and a separate wallet in my bag. Anyway, keep up the good work.

If cash is more your speed, check out Ezra Arthur cash folds. I've always wanted to try these leather folds as they're SUPER CLEAN but I carry more cards than cash. You could also go with a cardholder+money clip combo to keep things separate yet minimal on both ends. Happy hunting!

The insurance cards are a great idea. I was in a huge car accident, I'm fine now, but I had to spend time in the ambulance talking with a cop about getting my insurance info off my phone before going to the hospital. That wasn't fun. Iwould only keep 1 to 2 twenties in my wallet, unless a special occasion. You only need to cover what you absolutely need if a card reader went down, like gas or food.

DAMN sorry you had to go through that and glad you're good. That extra hassle really makes you rethink the one or two slots those insurance cards take up if something were to happen. And good point about the cash. Emergency cash should be just that, emergency and not too excessive unless there's a specific reason. Cheers man and thanks for sharing!

What do you do with your drivers license? Don’t you have to show that in most states?

About the Drivers license thing you can add your drivers license to your apple wallet on iOS 16 but right now it’s only available for 2 states not sure if more states will be added if they haven’t already

I don’t have a car insurance card but I do always carry my AAA card for breakdowns and occasional discounts. Do you have a golf bag when you go to the range? Maybe put the membership card in there

AAA card for roadside assistance is perfect. Re the golf bag, I guess this is more of a golf practice preference but I don't always have time to swing all my clubs all the time during a session so I'll usually grab three clubs I wann work on that day. Not always with my golf bag so I keep the card on me as a result 👌🏼

That's a good alternative, but I know I'd misplace one or the other so it's probably better for me to have a one-piece solution 😂
