Thanks for the video mate. Although I've been doing oil changes every 6 months and coolant every 4 years, didn't know it needed gear oil changes. No mention in the owner's manual. Secondly, I believer you've painted the wheels. What colour is that? My black XR5 has silver colour rims but thinking of painting black. Not sure whether to use Matte black or satin black. Would appreciate your thoughts. Gloss black is too shiny.

No worries at all mate, I'm glad you enjoyed the video 😄. I mainly changed the gearbox oil as mine was making a little bit of noise whilst changing gears and I thought that since the car is 14 years old I may as well get it done so its as good as new. And yes I had a mate of my dads paint the rims for me when i first got the XR5 Turbo, I don't know of the exact paint code but I believe he told me it was a colour called 'Metallic Graphite' 👌🏼

Hey bro do you have any idea on how to disconnect the o2 sensor on the cat from the clip end

Hey mate, I don't actually as I have never done it on my XR5 but I believe I do need a new one so I may be making a video showing how to disconnect and install a new one soon. Your best bet is to look it up here on KZread or check out the XR5 Turbo Facebook group and ask on there. I appreciate you watching the video and leaving a comment 😄

There's always a clip to squeeze or tab to slide. I can't remember what was on it when I did mine but I think it's a red clip that you slide back and pull the plug out. (Not sure) but it should be easy.

Sadly not bro, with the weather yesterday I decided not to go in case I got stuck, I did attend a local meet tonight that Treay and Shady hosted which was quite good. But I'm aiming to get to more meets in Brisbane soon 😄

these volvo 5 pots dont sound as smooth/refined as other 5 pot engines, i think the smaller displacement 5 pots generally sound smoother and more like a v10 with the right exhaust. they definitely aren't reliable in stock form needing a block mod.
