If it actually does make the guy chase you when you make him jealous it won't mean he likes you, it will mean he likes the chase, the game. Your feelings for him will become like the irresistible price in the game. And when he's got you and when you're with him he'll be happy he did it and succeed at first. But then he'll become bored sooner or later and move on to the next game, the next girl he wants to "win". Because after he's won the game and got the price and jumped in the air a couple of times, there's nothing more to it. He's done. Next. Guys who chase girls that make them jealous do it out of insecurity. They want to prove to themselves and to people around them that they can get someone hot and they can get a lot of women. And that's why they chase you. Not because they like YOU.

Yeah guys who are slaves to their emotions rather than logic. I don't respect girls that try to make me jealous because it shows a level of immaturity. If your going to acrew with my head then that shows me that you will do this the entire relationship and a relationship should be about respect and honesty not immature head games. This type of shit pushes me away and its not about insecurity on my part if I have made my intentions pretty clear it's about find a girl who isn't a narcissistic selfish attention seeking child. Anna S than stop trying to make him jealous... If it pushes him away you've gone too far, so next time know when to stop. Dating someone doesn't only mean that you have to feel good and wanted. He wants to feel the same way so stop making it too hard for him.

The problem with getting a guy jealous is that he may chase you but out of a feeling of jealousy. Once he knows he's got you he goes back to taking you for granted. I think a better strategy is to make him think no one else is interested (even though they are) and he will take you for granted, show his jerkier side etc. Essentially, you will see the real him. He will not be there for you etc. He will filter himself out of your life and open up space for the better guys (who deserve you) to get you. He will be jealous later but it will be too late for him. You will be walking down the aisle with a better guy that you like more and you won't even care about whether he's jealous. You might even feel bad for him because you know he truly did lose you for real -- no games, no using other guys to get him jealous. You never want a guy to chase you because of his insecurities. It won't last. Let him filter himself out!

I've been seeing a guy who's in an open relationship for some time now and I just can't tell if he gets jealous or not. He and his girlfriend literally encourage each other to hit on other people and he does the same with me, it's so weird. But at the same time, he seems to be a bit too interested in who else I'm seeing. Like, I'd be completely over a guy for some time, but he'd still ask about him. He literally doesn't remember the friends I introduce to him, but he remembers the guys I had flings with.

I hate game playing but I'm 29 so that's probably why! Anyone who starts to act like a tool by trying to get me jealous, makes me want to turn and run the other way. Try to make me jealous and you've just made yourself an option instead of a priority. I'm competitive but not with who I date. There are too many other people out there who are willing to date me that would treat me better and that's self confidence for you, not me being conceited. Know what you want. If the other person doesn't know what they want or if the timing is off, move on and come back to it if it finds you later on when the time is right.

Yeah same. I'm not a man, but men do the same and think it'll make the woman want them more lol. Some men think that if they look as if they're really popular with women and then walk around surrounded by and low key flirting with other women just to make me want him more - they're dumb. I'll be saying bye after a minute of that shit lol. A relationship built on insecurities and jealousy is so unhealthy, and probably won't even last.

Ironically I can vouch for the "when you go out take pics with your friends post videos on snapchat dancing with your girls or friends." The dude will text you. And guess what after the first reply you send. Leave it at that and reply to him the next day. Cause he will reply back. True story: this dude made me jealous by kissing a girl on the cheek on his snapchat. So I went out the next night with a group of both guys and girls. I took snaps. He saw them he texted me "looks like you're having fun" I took a picture of what I was drinking (fireball) I was tipsy but not too tipsy. We all know guys associate alcohol with naughty flirty behavior so I didnt reply back to him until the next day at 5pm. He unfriended from snapchat. But still talks to me at work. Were coworkers. And now hes all up on me. But hes still stubborn to fall. Either way I got the last laugh that night. It bothered him so much he decided to "ground me" those were his words. I sit here unphased because I know he unfriended me for ignoring him while I was out dancing and possibly flirting and dancing with other dudes. Lol

So for me, these are actually tactics to make a guy know that he is friend-zoned, but it seems to go in one ear and out the other. They think it's manipulation, but it's totally not. If I'm talking about how much I like another guy, I'm not trying to make him jealous. I'm being honest, and I really enjoy the friendship. A guy I really freaking like, I'm not going to risk it. He'll be jealous if he just sees me talking to another guy. Though, there have been times where more than one guy was after me, and I was not exclusive, and they were all jealous. It happens. But never-the-less, I'm not gonna say, "omg, that other guy is so hott!" when I'm talking to a guy I wanna sleep with, lol!
