Matthew Benavides i have never worn earplugs and neither have any other people in our drumlune and nobody has had hearing loss or damage so i dont see the problem wih not wearing earplugs

If you have the space, then I do recommend getting a kit but start with a cheap one. If you like it, invest in a better one. Just my advice but yeah

Practice pad and drum key is something every drummer needs, you don't necessarily need headphones or ear plugs, they definitely help but you must have a practice pad and drum key. Nice video!!

Acoustic set looks great. Which Roland set is that/other?

Another thing that helps would be either two small pieces of carpet or doormats big enough to just go under your hi hat and bass drum pedal when you're worried about things slipping and have to play on a hard floor.

I have an offworlder 3 pad and it really is the best pad I've had in a while... it feels just like an actual head (in my opinion).

this video is very helpfull for my brother he loves to play

besides a tuning key, you'll need screwdrivers and so on. There's many tools of the trade, depending how deep you want to go, including restoring and repairing etc.

i’d recommend fixing your grip on the sticks. i noticed when you do any type of rolls that your pinky finger is not on your stick. just keep your back fingers on the sticks

The glow Sticks may be good on an electric set with mesh heads, bit on an acoustic set or rubber pads, they aren't good for actually playing

I have the same ear plugs as you have but I really hate to use them just because I hear the Cymbals less and my Base Drum more... Its ok when I am practicing but the other members of my Band hate it...

most pads are 20, You can sometimes find cheap ones on sale in music stores like guitar center :)

Great video, great advice, you're just missing one thing on the list of things a drummer needs, A metronome, the most important in my opinion, whether it's an actual metronome or on your phone a drummer is no good if they can't keep time,
