We have had dachshunds for almost fifty years. Since they all love to burrow under blankets, we have learned the hard way that you should pat any blanket you see before you sit down on it. We sat on a sausage or two before we figured this out!😊

There are many things a Doxie can’t resist and nobody can resist a Doxie. When you see one, you have to play with them. You have to scratch them behind those big adorable ears. And you have to smile because they are just so lovable.

Love it! So Dachshund, he. My crew all have the same tendencies. Favorites were: the side eye when you disrupted his quiet time under the binkie, wrestling the toy from the toy box, sunbathing, and....why is this a universal thing we Dachsie parents absolutely love to do?...the chest kisses. My dogs, they are also very smal, have their Toys in a bucket from IKEA. it is special because it is Kind of a BIG ball, separated in the middle and only one half IS the bucket. So, the dogs NEED only to lay one taw on the Side of the bucket and IT Turns around Like a ball and they are ABLE TO see all Toys and fetch the one they whant to have . If mac learns to pick locks then you are in real trouble! A side note, I have been told that the coating on tennis balls is not good for a dog. Check with your vet.

Lol, looks exactly as my one year old doxie. And they love to bring their toys when eating, and if you start cleaning up their toys, they’ll scatter them again.
