Using a specific number of arrows and potions to delete a fail mission marker is peak speedrunning. So impressed at whoever figured that out.

Thief is such a classic, somewhat underrated, series. Really cool to see it at a GDQ, hopefully we'll see The Metal Age sometime in the future, too. The idea of just deleting the fail conditions for missions is hilarious. Great run!

Not the same developer as Tomb Raider at all .. Thief was Looking Glass Studios. The same developer as the original System Shock I think you mean .. not Tomb Raider. Thief 2 was also Looking Glass. Thief 3 was ION Storm and finally Thief 4 was Eidos Montreal and the franchise is still with them

I think the confusion was because it was the same publisher, not developer. A lot of people confuse the two. Both the original Thief and the original Tomb Raider were published by Eidos Interactive.

Yes, you are correct and I was aware that she was off the mark a bit, but I knew what she really meant so I wasn’t going to correct anything here and be a jerk about it. Had an awesome time running the game so i hope you enjoyed it at least!

@@EnragedHunger hey man, i know this was a while ago but i wanted to say thanks for explaining the stuff you do, i'm a big fan of the games and i wanted to learn some of the tricks people use to speedrun and you explaining it helps a lot.
Runners name kinda reminds me of Psygnosis the makers of Drakan, great games. Speaking of, Thief, amazing games.

Huh? It teaches you in the tutorial. I can't imagine playing this without mantle.
Played thief 3 ages ago, loved it until magic stuff happened which I was not in to at the time so I shelfed it, I HAD NOT IDEA OF HOW WIERD THIEF GAMES GET WTF ARE CRAB MEN!??? xD
