Those riff Thursdays are gold! Thanks for sharing the writing process, very informative 🙌🏻
Props to the way you responded to your audio being corrupted. A lot of people woulda just trashed the video, but you made the most of it! This riff bops
Joey Votto is an inspiring human being.

My favorite Cincinnati Joe
Man, you gotta put together an Ep from all these TRT riffs, they are stuck in my head.
I need it to be Thursday again. These videos actually help a ton! They're very inspirational and educational for myself and I can't wait for more!
Favorite musician lately dude. You’re on fire lol
dude's guitar and bass tone is on point!
I could listen to this riff all day! Dreamy.
Best day of the week 🤘

Yes sir it is!
Really cool riff Nick! You’ve got to be one of my favorite content creators at this point. I really enjoy watching the creative process to your music. As a musician myself, I like comparing your creative direction in these riffs to the particular direction I would have taken. It’s really awesome when I think “dude an octave lead part here would be sick” and then you proceed to do the same thing! Gives me some reassurance that I have a grasp on what sounds good to others! These have been really great to watch. The pace of your video editing really keeps it interesting during the entirety of the video as well. This“Thick Riff Thursday” series is my favorite. I can’t get enough of em. Thanks for all the great videos man! Keep ‘em coming!
Watched the video couple hours ago and this riff is STILL stuck in my head bruh u need to put this on an ep asap!!
the lead parts reminded me of Plini's Electric Sunrise
The quality just keeps getting higher and higher.
God I love these videos, your channel is going to explode soon man
I've been loving these videos! Got me back onto my guitar after not picking it up in a year!
sick riff!!! uplifting vibes
This. I love this. more of this please
That riff was quite thick
Absolutely stellar as always, Nick. Love it.
@apple can we get this man the strongest computer y'all carry please!!!!!!
honestly love these videos so much, i love your chord choices and just how you go about things, its so awesome and it gives me something realistic to strive for as a guitarist; rather than going from "learn this song, learnt that song, learn this technique", ive learnt i can dial it down to just "develop this riff", and its so awesome
Low and behold he pressed the corrupt button so that we can't see his noodling secrets to learn this epic golden riff.
love the videos man! you got me out of a serious writers drought
Makin my way down town walking fast faces past and I’m home bound
DUDE!? You’re a huge baseball fan too? It’s hard to find metalheads that love baseball. Joey Votto is such a stud. I’m a Mariners fan and watching Jake Fraley hit a walk off home run makes me want to die😂Killer riffs!

I love a THICC riff so much I’m watching them through a second time…
amazing riff man!! pd: i love that bass
OBS: "I see you're recording a video." Logic Pro: "I too, see you're trying to record." Nick: "Don't you dare..." OBS: "Would be a shame..." Logic Pro: "...if one of us required and update..." F IN THE CHAT!!!
banger as usual
The riff was too thick for your computer to handle
Midwest emo vibes, love it bro
Banger riff. Do the whole song
Would really love to see this one fleshed out into a longer song.
This would make such a perfect and massive chorus 😩
Heeey Niiib, thanks again for another sweet episode of TRT, hope you can get a better PC config for your work and content, you inspires me to get deep into music production, even my knowledge about is almost zero hahaha, always a big fan!
As a bass guitar, I can verify that this riff is indeed, dummy thicc 🎸
maybe it was covered in another video, but what's the chain for your bass? it sounds so tasty in the mix!
Had a lot of respect for you as a guitarist and person that I really enjoyed to watch, but now that I know your blood runs for the Reds? CMON MAN, L's in the chat, Cardinal Nation BABY!
Super cool material man. You should do a video once explaining how you come up with the big open chord progressions on guitar .. that’s the hardest thing for me and you always seem to find these huge open beautiful chords. Are you using theory for this ?
@nickbroomhallmusic

Yeah I could totally do an explanation of the way I come up with chord progressions! I’m not really thinking about theory when I’m coming up with stuff but sometimes it helps me solve a musical problem or gives me an idea of how to improve a part.
I hear DMM influence again! This reminds me of the riff at 1:35 in “Itch_ˈnʌθɪŋ_” from BILO IV.

Love that song!
Cool riff! You could have gone major 3th in the last chord 😗 I'm not hearing it with the main riff guitars, but when you only did the production guitars, I heard it that way 🙃
Love this series man, learned a lot from this. Please keep it going! 🙏 BTW was wondering if you think about how one of these tracks that have a lot of guitar parts are to be played live, or do you just go for whatever you feel the track needs and figure out the live playability later on (for like a 2 guitar players band)?
This is dope. What's the tuning you are in? And any chance of just a fast tab of one of those chord shapes? I just got a 7 string and I'm slowly trying to embrace that extra string
idk if sweeping the Rockies is the flex it was made out to be, but hey, I'm a long time suffering Mets fan. We're the butt of every joke, so it can always be worse! lol (I know it's about the win streak lol 11 in a row is nothing to sneeze at!)
are you in a high-rise? You have a cool view out the window.
What drums are being used here? Sounds awesome (especially the snare)
At first, it sounded super POD that in-between nu-metal and early prog, and then it just kept growing from there into new areas.
That’s pretty thic. Not sure if you’re into college World Series but it’s been wild this year!
