He's been consistently a game changer most of his career, even if he doesn't become a chelsea legend, which for me he is already, saved us so much. He's a legend in the sport. We need him until he's 40 at least lmao. He surely has to be top 5 all time, top best currently playing due to his consistency.

He reads the game so well! Reminds me of John Terry the way he does it. At Silva’s age, not the fastest, not the most athletic, but he sure does show up. He leads, and he commands our defensive backline when he plays

At his peak he was extremely quick. Kept up with most attackers, and was almost never dribbled (still rarely is). Didn´t have to make many sliding tackles before. He´s had a lot of injuries, and is not what he used to be, but he´s still one of the best defenders. And not really that slow. Look at those times attackers try to challenge his speed...
