That's why no one mentions the dog ever. Like it doesn't exist. They apparently weren't Sheltering with it either. Can ask for money on the gofundme but no mention of the dog. Must be dead because they left it outside.

My whole outlook changes on storm chasers. I used to think they were a bunch of crazies chasing storms. I just cried watching the family running towards his lights. He was a God send angel.

Freddy Mckinney was the hero that was there to save them and take them to the hospital! That was amazing to watch and amazing actions on him.

Thank GOD here in the Midwest, Texas included, we have people that “ Love their neighbors as themselves!” GOD planted that storm chaser there to help.

So grateful the family all made it out and so grateful Freddie was there

It wasn't God either. It was a human being with a good heart and conscious. Thank Freddy McKenney the storm chaser who found them. You're not going to tell me that God put ONE man in place to save ONE family, when he allowed hundreds of families and people die in tornadoes every single year. Christianity has people delusional. God does not interfere in the lives and deaths during these storms. He watches without ever getting involved. Otherwise conjure up an explanation as to how a believer in a church gets killed, but a non believer survives without a scratch. But then people turn around and say, that someone else survived by the "grace of God." So what, the non survivors were being punished?? Hundreds of people who died in the 2011 outbreaks were all being punished? Little children, babyies?? The 4 month old that died this weekend? But God chose THIS particular family. Why not let EVERYONE survive these tornadoes. But he's picking and choosing?? Not how it works. We're an ant farm. He's an absentee landlord. You people unfortunately misconstrued the Bible and its scriptures.

Okay so dont take this as me judging, this is me asking as a new resident of the south...... cause i dont want to do something stupid.... but if you can see it coming that far away and its not rain wrapped... is it not wise to get in a vehicle and just get out of its path if the roads are open? we cant afford a storm shelter,,, and it freaks me out O_O need to build one..

Never try to outrun a tornado (unless you have no other choice). If you are in a mobile home, then yes. your car is safer than a mobile home. But if you have ANYWHERE at least semi-safe to shelter, DO NOT try to outrun it. Tornadoes can move very fast, and even change direction. Not to mention, new tornadoes can spawn right over you at any time. And you can't account for things like getting stuck in mud, downed powerlines, flooded streets etc. So no. DO NOT try to outrun the tornado unless it's the only option
