Haya was waiting for an opportune moment after her father's demise to flee from that aberration of a marriage. Thankfully her brother is not like her father. He paved the way for diplomatic immunity for Haya and her children, which kinda put her away from Sheikh's clutches. But I have a feeling the story is not over yet. As for the $730 mil that she asked for, Haya knows her kids are not getting anything other than some hollow titles of Prince and Princess from the Sheikh. She was not even the first wife. The whole thing was a mess just coz her father was way too conservative for her.

I mean look at his own daughter that tried escaping too, even his first wife that no one really knows about Randa stating that since she divorced him she has never been able to see her daughter again and was even banned from entering the UAE. It’s such things that really make Sheikh Mohammed a terrifying foe. Luckily Princess Haya was able to escape successfully and win full custody over her children. He seems like a very controlling man.

Yeah there’s nothing romantic about Sheikh Mohammed 😂 he’s a very stubborn and controlling man, he’s done everything possible to separate countless women from their children, his past wives. It’s why Princess Haya was smart and thankfully escaped with her own two and got full custody. That entire society is backwards if you ask me no offence, women’s rights are not a thing nor are they considered worthy of being equals to their male counterparts.

Her family beyond big bucks. My personal opinion. today. Coerced. Had to be political. Once she accidentally found out about Latifa, then her brother found out about the Mohammed bin Salman deal, he figured her way out, she packed up the kids, took 37 million out of the cookie jar, he got her to Jordan on pretence, then she booked to England, he wouldn't dare touch her there. The Queen had horses in Maktoums stables in England, they knew each other beyond royalty. It didn't go so well for Latifa and her sister. Ain't love great ?

I def think her marriage to Sheikh Mohammed was political to probably make the alliance between Jordan and the UAE stronger. I think she married pretty late too, she always came across as very independent and like a free thinker. As if she didn’t need to rely on a man, not the typical middle eastern wife. She’s lucky she had the resources and background to escape with her children too. Yes she could’ve gotten married to Sheikh Mohammed out of convenience because of security purposes and hence why she had her affair but to me she seemed very modern at the same time like she wouldn’t put up with shit and would rather leave.

The truth might have a "slight chance" in this love story but sadly there was a lot more happening in the global arena than this couple 's love affair. The Royal family has married non-religious, and non aristocrats, so doubtful if that would be the real reason. Assad was getting in a lot of dirty people's or country's hair, so they used his love affair as a distraction. Today, the king of Jordan married off his day an non Aristocrats Venezuelan and son to a descendant / relation of a king Sulaman lof saudia Arabia.
