I believe this should be a requirement in school as well. When I was in 4th grade, my class gave us swimming lessons for 2 weeks straight. That knowledge helped tremendously.

This is actually how alot of older parents and generations tuaght their kids to swim. Heck, even my dad (A Navy Seal) threw me and my siblings in a pool when we were young, told us not to panic or we would drown, and to keep moving. We learned pretty quickly LOL

This video made me realise just how much I've been missing swimming. I was really into the sport and even practiced it competitively for a few years before I had to stop due to covid and me reaching senior classes. I really hope I can start back soon 😭

My cousin died from drowning. His parents, Ashley and David, run a company Swim For Vinny. His little brother and my sister did swimming lessons, and my Mimi teachs kids to swim. I will love Vinny so much, we will miss him. He donated his organs to kids in need after he died. I will never forget, love you Vinny.
