I'm glad I watched this recap. Now I know that I shouldn't spend money to rent or buy it later (or to go see it in the theatre). I read the book on which this movie is based and the way it is depicted here is a ridiculous disservice to the work that was done by both the operatives and the author of the book. I know that movie scripts, in many instances, take artistic license with the source material and if I hadn't read the book, it would probably be fine not knowing any better. But the story has been bastardized by the screenwriters and it is a real shame that history has been distorted so egregiously.
