Actually I think it's a Japanese thing. I don't know for sure, but I think in they're culture they usually leave more left than in western countries. I'm not exactly sure why.

Being alive is comfortable, truly living is breaking comfort zones. I was simply pointing out the difference between living and being alive. Smoking might have been a bad choice of words, although I'm using it as a example. Sometimes you have to take risks and live in the moment. No matter what others think of you, no matter how people view you. You're in control of your own life, you're in control how you waste your life.

love the song, never actually got round to watching cowboy bebop, but i think i might after seeing this. great vid. 5/5! this also seems like a good vid to start a debate on smoking in the comments, so here's my opinion; i smoke because i enjoy it and because it's part of who i am. i didn't cave to peer pressure, i researched smoking, asked all my friends and family about their opinions and views, and in the end, decided to try it out for myself. i liked it, so i still smoke.

Cowboy bebop strikes me as a homage to the superior series lupin the 3rd only with a more serious spin on the subject matter. Hell the general storyline pattern is the same to. Highly skilled but poor characters spend a great deal of effort trying to get money/treasure/ a fugitive and end up losing it in the end somehow pretty much everytime. Even lupin's yellow car makes an appearance in one of Bebop's episodes, the cigarette style is bent just like in Lupin, jet is basically zenigata and jigen mixed in one, spike wears the same shoes as lupin, Faye got amnesia just like fujiko, Vicious = Goemon. While bebop does have better writing the adventure's they go on pail in comparison to the heist's that lupin and his gang go on Lupin > Bebop Love both tho
