Haha. it can be hard sometimes but a little patience can help you nail it. Once you do it so many times, it will become very easy. Oh here's a tip about Lingyang that many people don't know. He can easily parry enemies with his mid air combos and 80% of the time, I don't even have to think and he'll just do it😂. It's because he attacks so fast when he's in mid air.

First I was thinking: "Man, this guy is good but the dmg output is really low". Then I realized the cat boy is lvl 60 with lvl 4 talents against a holo lvl 70... so now i'm interested in his potential. Of course, I think he will be a beast when others find his real strenght, but I think he is just good against bosses or 1 enemy, because his AoE dmg are nonexistance. Good vid, but I pass from prioritizing him to build.

Haha thanks. He cannot group enemies like Jiyan but his aerial combat have a small AOE so as long as the enemies are a bit close to each other, you can damage them both

No character is weak its just all bosses except scars first phase is the only human sized enemy.If theres ever more human type boss enemies that can be juggled lingyang can stun lock them to oblivion.

You need a rejuvenating glow echo set user which gives you attack buff when the user heals anyone in the party. Verina can do this to perfection. If you don’t have her, you can use Baizhi. Make sure to use the turtle weekly boss echo( the bell). The next slot will be Sanhua. Her outro skill will give you 38% basic attack buff for Lingyang. Give the moonlit echo set to Sanhua for more attack buff when you switch her out with lingyang. Here’s how you do the rotation. Verina or Baizhi will first have to health any amount of hp of your teammates. You don’t need to fully fill her concerto gauge. Then swap to Sanhua and deal a little bit of damage to fully fill her concerto energy gauge. When the concerto gauge is full, swap her out with lingyang. After that don’t fight with lingyang. Swap him out with Verina or Baizhi and activate the bell echo ability. Then swap lingyang back with verina or baizhi. By doing this rotation, you have the rejuvenating glow attack buff from verina or baizhi, you have the 38% basic attack buff and the moonlit clouds attack buff from sanhua and then you have the damage buff from the bell as well ( slight buff). If everything goes well, this rotation will last for about 6 seconds. Lingyang will also spend about 14 seconds on field to deal damage so the total field requirement for all teammates should be around 20s. Now go out there and show no mercy to any Tacet Discord you find. Subscribe if you haven’t yet

I haven't really done the math but as a lingyang main i actually do more damage using lingyang than other dps (except encore i didn't get her yet) while also having them at the same level of builds... So imo its a matter of kit i think. 😅

I agree. I don’t really know where people got the math for his damage calculation from. I have Jiyan on my account so i made two runs with Lingyang and Jiyan in the tower of adversity experimental zone thundering menphis. Lingyang actually did more than Jiyan while jiyan had even more crit damage( i got his weapon). Their attack stats were very close( aprox 1500) with equal talent levels(4). I don’t want to be the kind of creator that gives people reasons not to play characters they enjoy so I never uploaded that video on my channel. Every character can do good damage in this game and that’s what i love about Wuthering waves.

Love to know someone else likes abusing the fact he makes ground attacks useless. Hate the new area lots of the enemies have glacio res, my Aalto and Yinlin are my fill in DPS characters. Also making me realize I should probably hold onto his forte more to do that stuff, it makes parrying so easy. Only time I hold onto it is for burst buff. My other friend I dragged into Wuwa also plays Lingyang and idk if she knows he can do this. 💀

If you run a full team and you can do proper rotations, you will get full forte and full resonance liberation in every rotation if only the enemy does not die before then. I have some boss runs with him in the channel so check them out. I also have a video on the channel where you can maintain his flying state and still trigger his outro nuke to deal damage fast. Check it out on the channel and share it with friends❤️

I think personally it's him having a slower start than other dps, like he needs a bit more time to begin his damage. Other than he is gud, good boi As for a weak character, I do believe Taoqi deserves some quality of life changes to her. I love her gimmick and gameplay but I hope some parts of her could feel more impactful. She is weak because she doesn't feel nice which isn't the same thing but you get what I am saying

I get you completely. Concerning Lingyang’s slow start up, it’s not really an issue. His main damage source comes from his forte circuit. When you play him in a team, you always have to make sure that you deal a lot of damage using his aerial combos without being interrupted to recover more energy. His 2nd passive also helps with energy regen since you can use his skill in mid air and deal more damage as well. So the next time you switch back to him, his intro skill and resonance liberation will fully fill his forte gauge so you can do mid air combos again. By doing this rotation, you don’t have to do his groud combos to recover energy and fill his forte circuit. I probably need to make a video on this to explain it better but i hope you get what I mean.

just for content. if u have jiyan and limited resource you wont be building this char

Still weak. Encore at lv60 with lv4 talent beat this with 2 minute left without food buff and Lingyang did this with 20 second left with food buff? He's weak if compare to other 5 star unless you compare him with Verina...

I love your Linyang bro but in my opinion it's not about Lingyang, but it's your skill I think you can defeat that boss with any Character you use, you just have a natural gaming skill. Thanks. I’ll do my best to convince people otherwise😄. There are other ways that characters can become top tier even if they lack something in the damage department. Jianxin is an example, what she lacks in damage, she makes up for it in utility (shield and free parry).
