On a gator trapping trip in north Florida, Rob suffered two strokes, one of which was a bleeding stroke. He was hospitalized for four weeks and two days in the intensive care unit and is still recovering.

I'm sorry but I have to comment Rob. I've watched you for several years, before the kids were born, I even anticipate your videos...Sarah's, Gabe, Kelly, Stan (I saw the vid were you made Stan get on KZread more than he was) and few others all because of you. You are a "Encouraging force" and those around you benefit greatly. This stroke was unexpected as a fact. Please moderate so we can enjoy you and yours's for as long as us old "folks" (I'm 63) can enjoy a happy moment with you. Take care of yourself first...we will always be there for you.

@@xrazer2 Science and medicine can be good, but prayer to God is also good... for example, Lazarus was dead and buried for 4 days, when Jesus prayed for him. And Lazarus walked out of his own tomb. I don't think science and medication can do that.

brother you've been an inspiration to me getting into fishing and the occasional hunting. I'm a physician with a subspecialty in stroke neurology, and quite frankly, seeing your recovery is incredible and fills me with hope. Keep doing what you're doing and if your ever fishing for stripers or hunting for ducks in Long Island give me a holler.

I bet even if it didn’t taste good the experience would have made it taste good. Rob you have a fantastic positivity about you im sure it positively effects everyone around you.

Stingray is delicious. Had some at my aunts place and definitely preferred it over regular fish.

It is truly a blessing to see how God has pulled you through your stroke and how you've recovered. Truly, God is good and takes care of his children. God bless you Robert.

That's how it should be everywhere. Catch your fish in the Ochean and then clean it on the dock and then take it up to a restaurant for the chef to cook it up. They are all over Japan and you pay like 5 bucks to the chef and he cooks the catch. Rob i love the content, glad to see you're doing good and are back out there
