SpideyHypnosis I don’t really see why. It’s not like any of those moves are brand new. You just took a concept for a routine that’s been around forever and modernized it. Besides. It’s not like this is the only routine that utilizes multiple DL’s consecutively to do exactly that. I do a very similar handling in a four ace routine only the last change is a one handed top change. Regardless I like the variation 👍🏻

SpideyHypnosis I’m familiar with it (all too familiar. It can be maddening). I’ll be starting a tutorial channel in October. In it I’ll be touching on this very subject as I get further into the channel, but my main contention on this argument is simple. Unless you have a copyrighted effect that is currently being sold on the market (like Shin Lim’s 52 shades of red for example). Obviously I cannot teach that routine. But Shin didn’t invent flap cards. So without giving anything about the routine away AT ALL, should that prevent magicians from learning how to make gimmicks like that bc it’s a small part of a legendary routine? It gets complicated, I know. But I’m going to try and break it down by teaching effects from deceased magicians, effects of my own, then leave links where people can either purchase a download or an effect that is mailed to them like Dream or 52 Shades. One example is I have a triumph week I’ll be doing with 9 versions, but I’ll only be teaching 7. I’ll perform versions 8 and 9 and simply leave links to Asi Wind’s vsn then a link To Kostya’s and explain why I can’t teach those. That’ll be my audiences intro into the madness that is this debate. Bc how did the magicians making the argument that you shouldn’t teach learn? Last I checked it was from books, DVD’s, VHS (if you’re old like me u learned from those), or from other magicians at SAM or IBM meetings. More recently, ppl learned from...KZread!!! So how else are new magicians supposed to learn the art? Pay $10 for each trick involving a real ungimmicked deck, coin(s), billets, etc? In any event - I’m a big fan. You, Chris, Alex, and Xavier all kill it regularly! Oh. And bonus time. I went to high school with Marcus Eddie! I hope I do the art justice

One of the best card tricks I know. Thanks to quarantine, I started showing interest in card tricks, and I've seen a million videos of tutorials and performances by magicians and stuff and even tho the tricks were cool, they were super hard. It's nice to know a trick that's both easy and mind blowing. Super good video, Spidey!! ❤❤

Write 6 of hearts on a small piece of paper and roll into a ball Make more rolled papers (blank or with names of other cards) Keep the 6 of hearts paper ball apart from the rest of the paper balls Force that card Do this trick Right after when they think the trick is over.. Tell them "wait .... let's do something more " And bring out the paper balls from before and keep track of the 6 of hearts paper ball. Do the trick in which spidey teaches us how to force a paper ball And make them select the paper ball written as 6 of hearts And show them that all other paper balls are different. (Ps. I really don't know how good it'll be😅😅it just popped into my head and I thought it might be atleast a bit useful ....that's y I tried to share , Anyways ....have fun!)

mubin !! That’s a great way to add another layer of magic I would limit the amount of paper balls though because there’s a optimal point where the trick becomes a build up and the anticipation is at its highest but after that optimal point the trick begins to lose its effectiveness because it is dragging on too long and the subject begins to lose interest. It depends on the attention span of your subject but I learned this the hard way lol but good luck with that idea it’s definitely a good one.
