If you guys haven't seen their variety show called Run BTS! on VLive m.vlive.tv/video/1037/playlist/27764 it's hilarious and you get to see their personalities more. They play games and compete in challenges, even do a few skits. They have another show called Bon Voyage where they go on vacations together, there were some clips from it in this video. Bon Voyage season 2 they go to Hawaii, there is a clip where they are on a boat and reading letters they have written to each other out loud and JHope talks about how much Suga (Yoongi) cares for the members and Suga starts yelling off the side of the boat. He gets embarrassed easy, he grew up not expressing his emotions well. I don't think he got a lot of complements or verbal "I love you's" growing up, it's just not what he is use to. He mentioned his father would care for him in a quiet way in small gestures so he does the same thing, he is observant and will notice if someone needs something or sometimes a kind word when they are down. He has gotten way better at expressing his emotions to the other members now and I think they helped him with being more comfortable with that. He's a tough cookie on the outside but is squishy on the inside. He also loves basketball.

Blood sweat and tears era was when Jimin was dieting really bad because he wanted to look good for the fans.. he realized he only ate one meal in 10 days and he stopt dieting Thank god.. But in that time the other members were always really worried for Jimin because he would pass out at times and had no strengt..

The thing with Suga and his parents... From what I understand there was conflict between him and his parents when it came to him pursuing music so I can't imagine how overwhelming it must have been to see his parents coming to see him as a successful performer. All of this just really blows my mind when I remember how young they really are. I can't imagine how hard it must be to have to be away from your family for that long. That's why I'm really glad they've had this break. They deserve the opportunity to just spend time with their families and their friends and just be themselves. Also Suga is good at basketball. They played 3-on-3 against each other on an episode of Rookie King. I'm not sure if it's on YT but it's great.

the part in the car when J hope and JK spoke about the others not letting starve comes from Bon Voyage season 2. During Bon Voyage the boys go on vacation and basically have to take care of themselves and are given a budget, JK and J Hope had lost a bet the night before and were given no food budget for the next day but all of the boys ended up buying them food. Bon Voyage is the best way to truly see how the boys are outside of concerts and photoshoots. Yes they are being followed by a small crew, but for the most part they take care of themselves, and its always fun watching them search for their rental house for a few hours lol.

Min yoongi is suga.Thats sugas real name, he was the one playing basketball.

That’s why having mixtapes works because they support each others individual works/projects. Not like in the US where a lot of times band members will get upset if someone want to do something outside of the group, that’s why they break up. But BTS members are happy and supportive for each other.

That “big bow” SUGA did to his parents is a sign of deep deep gratitude and respect. It is the MOST respectful bow in Korean culture. And to think that he and his parents had conflicts in the past regarding his dreams and choices, when he saw them finally supporting him in their very own concert, I’m sure that would be heartfelt.

"They are always feeding each other." - Sharing food and feeding each other is a sign of love and affection and closeness in most Asian cultures. Especially in Korean culture, the older person usually is in charge of feeding the younger ones...

I am always amused at Suga's reaction, whenever the members express their love and affection for him. He gets embarrassed and tries to reject them, but they never let him get away with it. This seems to have helped him accept their attention with a little more enthusiasm. He is adorable and so funny, you just have to love him.

They been through tough life before they been notice.. I've been there with them since 2013.. the hate, the struggle etc, been through with them a lot.. that's why ARMY ARE SO OVER PROTECTIVE .. WE ONLY HAVE EACH OTHER.. THATS WHY, EVERYTIME BTS HAD A SPEECH, THEY WOULD SAY ARMY FIRST.. WE LOVE THEM TILL THE END OF TIME.. WE WOULD GROW OLD WITH THEM.. if they cry we will also cry.. if they hurt we will hurt too.. that's what family arrr.. thank you for your reactions.. uuwwuuuu

I immediately started crying when Yoongi started crying because I remember how much it meant to him to see his parents supporting truly.

They are the funniest, sweetest and goofiest when they are just being themselves. That's why we all love their 'reality shows'-- Rookie Kings, Bon Voyage, Run BTS, etc.

11:41 The boys had to bungee jump in a Run BTS episode and Jimin yelled "I love Bangtan" and said his brothers' faces flashed in front of his eyes before he jumped. PS: as always, thanks for this heartfelt reaction. 💜💜💜💜

Around 5:25 RM was really excited because the cake was his favorite character of all time, Ryan, and seeing him that excited was heartwarming.

*EDIT* these 7 angels were young when they went to Seoul to pursue their dream. Jungkook was only 15 y.o. and his 6 hyungs, basically kids themselves, raised Jungkook. All 7 have endure hardships and challenges. Receiving hates from all side and telling them they won't make it in the industry. You have to remember you got 7 different personalities with their own dream come together as a group. Yes they argue and ideas clashes. Ego will be bruise. But one thing for sure, they always talk it out as a group at the end of the day. that is how bond are form and become stronger These 7 angels have a really strong bond that is unbreakable. They love, care for each others. they mirrored each other habits without looking or un-subconsciously. That how close they are. they don't need words to know what need to be done. all 7 are each other anchors. they show who they are, as genuine, humble, sincere dorks. that why people love BTS.

One thing that amazes me is how they bond with each other throughout the hardships. Usually pressure can break relationships. I used to live with 9 strangers in College. Just like BTS, we (students) were randomly chosen by the college to live together in an apt for the period of 2 yrs. My group managed to stay together thruout the period but we didn't bond like BTS. After 2 years, I was glad to leave. When dealing with different personalities, usually you may like a few but to like all... ooh.. to me, it's hard. And BTS consists of 7 artists who surely want to show that he is the best and yet each BTS members prefer to highlight the other members instead of himself. They appreciate each other's contribution for the group. Salute to CEO Bang for the way he managed to instill the spirit of togetherness in BTS. Their love for each other is genuine. Even Suga who used to fight the world alone, embraces his BTS siblings full heartedly.

My hearteu!. I'm sure they know how lucky they are to have each other... it's hard to find one or two friends that close, let alone a whole friend-family.

You should watch some of the old radio interviews. They were funny and endearing from the start.

Suga was the one playing basketball.in fact his name has connection with basketball-their boss called him sugar coz his skin is so fair and soft which looks like sugar cube and also he used to play basketball in shooting guard position so the name suga(sugar/shyuga that is shooting guard)...he is called grandpa coz he hates physical movements and believe in only working with his brain...he is called Daddy coz he handle the money when the boys have to spend it together and he is incharge of fixing damaged things especially broken by president namjoon 😂

In Korea, the "bow" have certain degree. If you bow all the way down, it means you show so much respect for the person. Our boys have been very transparent with their emotions. See, i really shouldn't be watching them cry while i'm at work. if they cry, i cry.

"What did he jump into?" They were bungie jumping. Some of them are scared of heights, but the rest of the members are below cheering each other on. So eventually the all jump.

Its such wonderful thing to see bts is there for each other, grow togather, help each other out in musical aspect, comfort each other, going through hard time togather with trust n faith , talk n listening to each other. They r more than friend, literally better than close family in blood. They still fight but understand each other, talk things out to solve things wishing not hurting anyone, respect each limit n standard. Thats literally showing how to maintain good friendship n respect all difference. Touching to see their moment togather, its not easy but they appreciate each other n remind me not to take things for granted while spending time with close family, friends etc... Too easy going which make us forget the minimum basic respect n thoughtfulness to each h other. Learn many things n remind me what is the basis keep good relationship with boundary n limit. Attitude affect behavior n action. No one is perfect. Process of learning doesnt limit to age n anyone

Jimin had problems with Anorexia for a couple of years, he is so hard on himself and being a dancer he was accustomed to dieting already before BTS. All the guys watch their weight though, it is a big thing in Korean culture to be in shape. Jimin would often pass out in rehearsals because of not eating for days, the longest he said was 10 days with no food. But he is okay now, he no longer restricts like that..mostly because ARMY kept telling him he was perfect and to gain weight. The members also helped him with positive reinforcements.

A lot of the clips were from Bon Voyage episodes. You guys should watch their shows. It's really fun, inspiring and touching.

Oh the irony.I was texting my husband who is on the plane in Seoul heading home from visiting his family in Malaysia after 28 years. He was raised in London. I know how Asian families are and when the sons leave their parents worry about certain things more than others. Family is always first, thus the visit for my husband. It was an immediate need but non the less he was “expected to be respectful”. I would be surprised if BTS hadn’t become a family. Mothers of son’s look forward to seeing them succeed no matter where they are and get reminded frequently to respect elders. This was a nice insight into how they perceive one another. Had to grab a tissue myself. Sorry for the novel.

terri rocklover because it’s unnecessary since MOTS:P already hit 4 million sales and also because it’s the “new contract era” I think BTS is going to change up a lot of things and break that kpop shell off their backs. That shell is like a turtle shell just slowing them down and hindering (people who look down on kpop) from acknowledging their true talents. They’re probably going to do things that other kpop groups cannot copy easily. For the rest of the seven years expect a whole new level of artistry from BTS.

terri rocklover honestly I was also really anticipating their comeback in October, but it’s not a smart idea if they’re, like I said, trying to break away from kpop because as you might know there are many other kacts comebacks in October. If they keep pushing the same method as other kpop acts BTS will always get treated like how VMAs treated them “you’re invited but don’t sit with us”. Bangtan will never leave their korean roots tho. They will shine bright and proud as Korean artists and always sing in Korean but might try to dissociate from that corrupted “industry”.

I think y'all are at the point where you can know their full names now without getting confused. In their culture the family name comes first and the given name is second. RM = Kim Namjoon, Jin = Kim Seokjin, Suga = Min Yoongi (the one who was playing basketball, SUGA's rap name references the name of a guard position in Korean), J-Hope = Jung Hoseok, Jimin = Park Jimin, V = Kim Taehyung, and Jungkook = Jeon Jungkook (or Jeongguk).

Many of these clips are from vlive ,I highly suggest you download the app or go on it in your computer ,it’s a place where groups can livestream ,for BTS,they do live-streams (yes there is subs), you get to know them in a more personal level, also they release weekly episodes of BTS Run,I highly suggest starting from the beginning ,they’re amazing and you see the growth in not only the members but the group as a whole .yes it’s mostly games but you get to see how they interact with each other ,what scares them,what motivates them ,etc. ,for the live-streams ,Namjoon (RM) also has explained previous albums,how each songs came to be ,etc. you can watch all these on your own time it will definitely be worth your time
