I’ve had every battlepass since season 11 with the exception of season 19. I’ve been playing when the game first launched but didn’t bother buying the earlier battlepasses which I regret. It seems because this game asks for real money I’m no longer buying the battlepass. In fact I’m no longer spending money on this game let alone the battlepass. I’ve barely played this season because it’s boring and I’m level 35 so I doubt I’ll reach the max level in time.

It seems like they’re making the game friendlier to the absolute zero never spend money free to play players, with events and battlepass, cucks the maybe £10 every half a year (most players) and is bleeding the I spend my paycheque people on this game dry (they know they’ll keep spending). Essentially they’re killing off its main player base, the game, which is already on a decline, will die. Not only financially but player wise too.

The doing challenges for a free battlepass is to make sure people do the update, play the first weeks and have the battle pass so they can show with statistics that this new season and new battlepass is a success, because a lot of people have it.

“Here’s more bullshit that you’ll never use or see again after you hit mark all as read.” We’d rather do that than fix any problems in the game.

"You can earn twice as many AC per season" but it literally doesn't matter because Apex Coins are basically worthless to most players now. Most players only spend them on the battle pass every season. Now you can't do that. Fuck EA.

Ea- lets spend the budget on designers to make skins no one sees instead of investing in better servers that make the game playable

as a casual gamer due to working a lot, i just continue to enjoy the game for what it is. pure enjoyment. i can see how diehards are mad cuz i used to be one but ill just continue to spend the money i do for the regular BP since i don’t play often enough to get the coins to buy it over and over again. overall casuals like me are getting more.

Every free to play player completes the battle pass for the reactive weapon skin, crafting metals and coins are just a bonus. This was one of the only things that kept the average going, the battle pass was considered to be the in-game progress. Now these same type of players will have to decide whether they forcefully have to pay $10 a split to earn that same skin. In other words, they will have to decide whether they want to pay the $10 to play the game and feel like they are progressing towards something. Most of Apex’s micro transactions usually provided a luxury item, but to put a paywall in front of something that was considered a progression item is indirectly hurting a portion of the player base

I loved apex for a long time as i found the gun play and gadgets and there game changing interactions just as good as titan fall 1 and 2 but the season they added the wall teleport lady was the last I played and quit at the start as it just felt like a mobile game to me

I'd rather backflip into an incoming train than to ever give respawn a single cent. It's like they pulled a rocksteady and decided to throw away easy money.

Welp all the Apex Coins that ive been grinding to get from this season BP are now completely useless.

I've been coming back every season to do the BP. Not anymore.

Right, we all know what to do! If we as a community don't spend the cash then respawn & EA will see that the system needs reverting just like when they released the peacekeeper recolour for cash.

Aw yes so I won't be able to slowly get levels every few weekends

I quit with 6,500 hours. I have 4 hierlooms. 1 prestige skin. The Cobalt Katar. It doesn't matter what you do, you're fighting controller modder cheaters. Everyone is cheating with a CronusZen or a Xim. Look them up on KZread in conjunction with apex. Then tell me you didn't instantly vomit in your mouth when you realize that these are 80% of players on console. The game is long 💀

Had every battlepass since season 1, the amount I spent on it total for 21 season is probably £50-£60. In the new system I’d be paying £80 for 8 battlepasses a year, more than I have in the past 5.

At first I was upset when I heard about this...but I wanted to start getting shards for the new heirloom coming out anyways. I see it as a way to get my shards and some extra skins and items too.

Im glad i was able to play this game when it was still in its prime.. When the devs played their own game and interacted with the community

EW why ruin the game by making it more pricey!

​@@MrQubi_ not gonna be the case for streamers when cheaters make it even worse In addition to that I don't think you will be able to force a streamer to say that this is better It's gonna be even worse when streamers are forced to pay 40 dollars every 45 days, not saying they don't have the money to spend but it would certainly be shitty

Funny how this game drove me away 2 years ago with the way you nearly couldn`t finish the BP without going online every day or paying for levels... Glad to see nothing has changed and I don`t have the need to come back!!!! TITANFALL 3 is dead before it`s even in the making!

Damn this is just like when my favorite restaurant stopped selling wings at a loss cause my friends and I were buying so many and ordering free water and no booze.

Yes! This is exactly what I needed to finally quit playing daily to complete the pass. With FOMO gone I can now just play whenever I feel like it. Thank! God!

Rest in peace... GL Legends and later they replace all collection events with this gacha sh.. because now ppl will have a lot of crafting materials...

The battle pass change isn’t that bad except for the fact that THEY MADE IT ONLY MONEY ea is interesting

Its not only money but you have to do challenges in the first 2 weeks of the new season if you want the premium bp split 1 for free. Still pretty consumer unfriendly since not everyone of the f2p playerbase can grind 2 whole weeks just for a free premium bp

On the Apex Reddit they have deleted all posts discussing the battle pass including mine as they are “low effort/duplication posts.” Shows that they don’t really care about their community and their thoughts so instead of replying, they are simply hiding how the community actually feels.

That's desingenuous, the top post is about this change. They simply remove extra posts about it to avoid the sub being flooded. Discuss it in the existing posts instead.

@@nobat00 Yeah thats a great way to spread awareness and get the most community feedback about changes, by limiting posts about the topic to comments in a post that is only seen if you sort by “hot.” It’s clearly an attempt by them to prevent as much backlash as possible. You can make the argument that its spam, but that is thrown out the window because whenever they implement a change the people enjoy, like the Evo shields, you can find hundreds of similar posts that haven’t been removed because it makes them look good. They’re willing to accept the compliments but not the complaints.

Stopped playing competitive games because of anti consumer policies and man, my life improved a ton, i advise everyone to do the same.

5:30 wait does that mean I have to buy the battle pass to play? Is a battle pass not always optional?

If that mistery Titanfall universe game isn't cancelled for me it seems like jumping ship,they are tryna get the most money of the Apex before releasing a new game to print even more money with it

I’m fine with this, the only thing that was keeping me playing apex was battlepass fomo.

- More crafting materials!... but they don't implement any new permanent content, just FOMO, so what's the point. - More Apex packs!... so you can get 8 more white-tier things and 1 purple for a character you'll never play. - 10 exotic shards!... for the heirloom and skins you don't have and never will. - 3 legend themed packs!... for a character you don't play. You get the point. A battlepass should be an incentive to play, not a demand to pay.

Helldivers battlepass is good. Hope more games takes inspiration.

I just heard the new voice lines for lifeline, when they do her rework I feel like they are going to change her name to flatline since it seems she's going down a dark path in the lore. I haven't played in months so I really don't know I just had a quick theory I had from his vid from 2 weeks ago.

BP was one of last reasons why i grinded Apex. Now... well...
