I live in Australia and I showed this video to an Indonesian girl today who works in the same place as me. She had never heard of VOB but said they were very brave singing this music in the Hijab and she wondered how long they would be able to do it. She said they must have a lot of pressure from their families and society and said again how brave she thought they were doing this whilst wearing the Hijab. Makes this an important song I think.

She's true mate, they've got not only pressure but also harassment from some people that believe that music is forbidden in Islam (and they totally wrong). But thank God that those girls keep playing their music and they've got a lot of support much more than people who against them.

I believe the pressure now is less and less.. the pressure happened mainly in their early years (4 or 5 years..because they started very early) ... pressure still exists but I believe their supporters are larger. Yes they are really brave and the three of them are also smart, They came from a very remote small village;

Considering the culture they come from: They do Rock Music for same reasons, it was done 50 ago in the West. As a musical means of protest against cultural and political obstacles. And they stand for a wordwide culturale change, the former "third world" has caught up and delivers noticable parts to worldwide culture. Just view another impressive band: "Bloodywood" from India.

Wow, that was awesome though on your video reaction. They were bully with their outfit in hijab, but they broke all of it with their awesome performance and skill. You should hear their instrumental song called sundanese instrumental (best audio in mecell sukogidri channel), and the bassist player (Widi) nail the bass like cliff burton style and the guitarist (Marsya) play solo like Joe Satriani Style. It was so awesome and really make eargasm. Keep up the show broo

Yes, your pronunciation is closer this time around. You've nailed the "c" ("ch") sound in "baceprot." 😀 (Technically, it should be spelled "bacéprot." The acute accent over the letter "e" indicates the pronunciation: "eh" as opposed to the schwa ['uh"], which is the letter "e" without the accent.) The letter "o" is actually pronounced just like the short "o" in Spanish, not the English "o" ("ah" or "oh"). The rolled "r" is also the same as the Spanish single letter "r." BTW, my mom was born and raised in Garut, West Java, VOB's home base. We're not Sundanese like these girls, though. 😀 I was born in Bandung, the capital of West Java, and lived there until I was almost 12. I've spent most of my life in the US. It's great to see more rockers (female rockers at that!) reppin' the ol' stomping ground! 🤘🎸💯

I've always been a music lover and so often ending up going down rabbit holes into uncharted depths, found these ladies the other night, one of their Metalica covers, and was so very impressed with their talent, heart, and vigor, one of those 'instant fan' things that doesn't happen to me too much. Great reactions there UAR, and I totally agree! I am quite surprised at the initial lack of their own instruments, sounds like the drummer needs a decent kit now and kinda miffed there isn't a famous band out there who'd thrown them a set of drums, or even a manufacturer (a million dollars of free publicity is nothing to sneeze at imho), just a thought du-jour :) Cheers from PNW Canada! VOB can't be compared with other bands, VOB has fought and fought from zero until now without any support from people around them even from their own families. Even VOB doesn't have their own musical instruments until now, they still borrow/rent musical instruments for. That's why I like about VOB compared to other bands like WARNING, BAND MAID, or BABY METAL. And VOB does't only just play musik, but they also help all women around the world free from sexual vilance and get independent

They have been around for 7 years and really don't have too many originals but plenty of covers, I really like them a lot. They just got back home from a European tour and all of their shows were sold out. There is plenty of amazing talent in Indonesia many solo guitarists who are phenomenal as well, one of my favorite guitarists is 16 year old Ayu Gusfanz she has already recorded many of her own songs and has done some amazing covers like Satriani's On Peregrine wings kzread.info/dash/bejne/gGqsprymdrzKnLw.html Oh BTW your sounds have become so much better since I last checked out your reaction to Lovebites
