Mizuno mijs are the best boots ever. It took me so long to realize that it is comfort, instead of all the fancy techs and gimmicks, that determines how i perform.

I'd be happy for Josh to just review Mizunos in an everlasting loop. I love the products and his enthusiasm for them is plain to see. Bob 🇬🇧

I’ve been wearing the MIVs because of this video and Black Friday sale. They’re amazing. Best boots I’ve ever seen. Amazing touch. Soft leather that just molds to your foot. Don’t know if it’s the boot, but I swear I can do things with these that I can’t with others. Simply awesome

I played today in my 2014 Mizuno Morelia in the snow....simply put, Amazing

The difference in fit out of the box is because of how long they keep the boots in the last. The made in Japan boots they keep in a last for 24 hours to make sure the shape out of the box is perfect whereas the non MIJ boots they only keep in a last for 20-30 minutes.

I have the MIJ, they last a long time if you take care of them. If you take care of your stuff the MIJ is worth, if you just keep your boots in the bag and never clean them these are not a good idea.

Even more important: do not use them on artificial grass!! It will last you half the time you could expect using them on grass

Mizuno is the definition of simple but effective

for morelias, i would go half a size down or stay true to size according to JPN cm measurement

I have a pair of mizunos that i wear every week for the past 3 years. They are still good to use. My newest pair of adidas have started to show signs of wear after a few months of use

Does anyone know when Nike will be bringing out the FG version of the Premier 3? They've only released SG for some reason.

My brother turned me on to Mizuno several years ago and I've never looked back. Granted, i'm an old guy who works for a living and can splurge on the MIJs. That being said, if given the option between the Elites and a pair of adidas copas, I'd still go with the copas. IMHO it's a better boot with better quality leather, made in Germany, and costs less. A close second would be those Lotto Stadios that are made in Italy.

Is there a black Friday sale for sr4u grip socks?

I may be the only person that wasn’t blown away by my Mizuno Morelia MIJ. Is it a great boot? Of course, but I guess I expected more for the price. I enjoy my copa mundials better. But maybe it’s just because of the price difference, that I know I can buy a copa at anytime vs the Morelia. Either way, a good boot to add to the collection.

I bought a pair of Puma Future Z 1.1 4 months ago and the top started letting loose, cuts in the shoe. Basically I ended up sending them back to the webshop. As replacement, since I never got a replacement from that store but my money, I bought the Mizuno Elite 2 (exactly the one you're holding). Played with them last night and they felt amazing. The leather still has to form and I did get blisters (since I think i wasn't used to the low heelcap). Wonder how well these will hold up. Great shoe for a even "lesser" price. Our teamkit is yellow and black, so I'd rather have the red be yellow or white but whatever. Who gives a fuck about the colour ultimately. you should be lookin at a ball anyway ;) Also, in addition to my full-ass story. i noticed that the lip, or bottom plate is glued differently and higher up on the cheaper version. wonder if that production has to do with durability lol.

How do Pro version compares to thoes?

They are great boots for the price. Comfortable and very lightweight

I got the venom pro for 30 bucks Black Friday was a steal

The neo 3 elite are excellent👌just played in them today, then ran a 5K in them. Quite comfortable although also pretty narrow.

Mizuno just doesn’t spend the money for marketing compared to the big 3

I guess it depends on feet, but I prefer the elite over MIJ. I’ve tried to give my MIJ model a chance but they’re just not the right fit on my feet for some reason.

This is probably because the ones Made in Indonesia have a tighter forefoot. A bit reduce in size.

I feel the difference between my MIJs and my elites is night and day. I think the studs are longer on the elites, the leather is harder and they fit slightly longer

Maybe its placebo because its cheaper since that’s not true. The soleplate is the same, even the material of the soleplate and the leather is the same. Only difference is the type of mesh in the midfoot, and a little less heel puff. It shouldve costed 250 this is a huge steal

Bought the morelia 2 elite but the soleplate of the merc 13 elites are wider so my pinky toe is scrunched down in the former compared to the latter. Im a barefoot/minimalist shoes athlete and I couldnt believe it myself that the mercs are wider than the morelia

check dedicated videos. You can damage your sg's. Longer cleats - sg get damaged by hard surfaces. I also didn't know, but searched yt.

Well...the youth are just more heavily influenced by media and slick advertising. As well as what some famous player is wearing. Nevermind that said famous player is not wearing those boots or that brand because it's the best. Or that said famous player even thinks they are the best or even likes them. Said famous player is wearing them because they are being paid dump trucks of money to wear them. Mizuno sells purely on word of mouth. They are class and quality. If you know you know.

The difference is in the sole plate... Old school...flat along the bottom allowing the big toe & pinky toe to over hang just enough to make first contact with the ball. Modern....plastic wrap around sole plate that will karate chop away the ball if you're not careful. Is it the materials, glue or manufacturing process ?..I dunno.... Most modern boots are made where an upper sits inside a plastic canoe...to me that makes 99.999% of them made wrong.

It's very much a personal preference thing. Both are great, but it really depends on what type of fit and feel that you like.

I'm in the same situation. My brother lives in Texas so I ordered them to his house and then he sent them to me. Unfortunately they run about half a size small and I had to return them. I'm still waiting on the new pair because the warehouse has a backorder later this month meaning boots that I initially ordered in early September will be getting to my house by Christmas RIPPPPPP. Gunna be worth it though

What pros wear is all about endorsement deals. Whichever brand pays them the most, is the brand they wear. Mizuno doesn't spend anywhere near as much on endorsement deals as bigger brands do. Very few pros wear the boots that they chose, they wear the boots that they are paid the most to wear.

buy MIJs and never look back ... Also because you can't afford throwing that earned cash away!
