Hola saludos, me gustaría comunicar con usted para unas consultas a que correo le puedo escribir?
We are also from the Bahamas and moved here to Panama City last year May.
Thanks. Lots of good info! Key: "Boots on the Ground" "I love the outdoors!"
I have built both bamboo and PVC ceilings... There was even some sections of tongue in groove teak. Panama also does a lot of suspended ceiling using ceiling panels
Great info thank you for being honest 👍
Wow.! Excelente video con información muy valiosa.! Muchas Gracias. En mi plan de vida esta mudarme próximamente a otro pais y dentro de mis opciones estaban Las Bahamas y Panamá; a partir de hoy creo que estoy descartando a las Bahamas e inclinandome definitivamente por Panamá. Nuevamente mil gracias.! 👍
Excellent video and info!
I'll be there soon❤ working on it.
Can’t wait to go back to my beautiful Panama 🇵🇦🌎👍🙏😎
Looks Bouqete is getting full! And expensive. 😢

Loved your video and aerial shots. Just back from a visit to Boquete and will be coming for an extended stay-cation. Would love to connect - island people, creative entrepreneurs, and you're dog people!!!😊

Thanks! So glad you enjoyed the video. Our videographer does amazing work!
Great video. Thank you. I'll most likely be retiring to Panama from the US next year. I also own and love my Jeep Wrangler. The question that I have been trying to figure out is, should I bring my jeep over to Panama or do I sell it in the US and then buy one there? My jeep has a winch, roof rack, extra lights, the works. I wonder if all that kind of custom work to a jeep is possible in Panama?

My understanding is that there are some pretty high tariffs on foreign vehicles come into Panama to be re licensed and registered there.

How often do you have earthquakes? Are they bad?

Rarely have one that you feel. They are not bad
Why do you need a lawyer to start a business in Panama?

There are MANY things you need to start a business. A corporation, business license, RUC number, DGI, social security, etc. Plus the attorney will verify that you are not doing a business that is protected for Panamanians only! You need a lawyer to navigate all this for you.
Not a very good ambassador for Panama it seems. Rains a lot, earthquakes., etc. Maybe I’ll rethink this whole thing

Vancouver has the same earthquake building codes, actually they are much stricter than Panama. Panama does not get huge earthquakes, just little tremors from time to time. Nothing serious. Yes, it rains quite a bit in the winter but that's not a bad thing. We need it to balance the dry season and to have fresh produce every year. As an expat here I find it very safe.

We don't care. We don't want you here. Americans always want things their way.

I'm from California, the earthquakes here are nothing to be concerned with. Natural disasters are nothing to be concerned with here in general. Yes, the highland towns gets lots of rain. You could live in the Azuero area & the rainfall there is around 40 inches a year, so that's fairly low amount. Of course, the tradeoff is warmer weather.

Boquete is an expensive place to live in Panama. Too many expats living there. And yes. Expats driving the living costs up. If you living on a budget, stay away from gated communities where rents are high plus maintenance fees are high too.
I've gotta quit watching these videos. I dying to go! My spouse? Not so much.
