All great looking pants. I am glad that I was able to buy my Vidda Pro's in a size 48 (32US) as they fit me perfectly and I do not know of a tailor within 50 miles of me. I am not sure that I would have purchased them if they weren't available in a size that fit. If a person spends well over $100 USD on a pair of pants they probably don't want to then drive 50+ miles to pay even more money to have them fit to the right size so they can actually wear them. I noticed that little kid is still following you around lol It's nice to see him getting involved and also having room in his pockets to collect some rocks :-) Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.

Great video showcasing all the Vidda styles and the different perspectives. Albert is a jem. Yesterday I picked up new Keb Trousers and the Vidda Pro originals. Along with some other stuff. Absolutely love the Keb's. My favorite pants out of all the pants I own. Ted, I almost woke you up last night due to my over excitement when I got home from the Fjallraven store. I will say, the Vidda originals are very warm. You are exactly correct, I see wearing them early Spring or late Fall or maybe during the Winter if they are waxed up. Can't wait to try them on some hikes and camping. Second guessing myself, I may have wanted to go a size up on the Vidda's so I could put a base layer underneath? Maybe over time, the pants will loosen slightly and not be as stiff? Comment review on that later, Ha. Peace.

Id suggest the ventilated. I had the kebs, as soon as the get wet, they take forever to dry, so if your going camping or out for multiple days and only have one pair of pants, consider that. Its the stretchy material that takes awhile to dry. Hiking in the Kebs was great, super comfy, so i guess depends what you need them for! Great quality either way!

@@JustFieldWork, For day hikes, I personally recommend the Keb Trousers, they're absolutely awesome! Keb's have a stretchy crotch gusset and the thigh pockets are on top of the thighs instead of on the sides so items don't slosh around. You can add lightweight knee pads if you want. I recommend sizing up one size in the waist.

Syltfiskaren! Thanks. I mean there is nothing to discuss anymore if they want to expand there customer base. I've been into shop after shop in the Med area and the answer always goes: they are Scandinavians.....tall as fxck etc, reality is that the average length of a Swede is 180cm not 186cm as the model on their website. To go like Redcap and get a Women's pant to fit.....hahaha! Now we need the company to have a REG which is average length, LONG for more than that and SHORT for below average size. Vidda Pro as short is awesome, now they need to move on to the remaining pant line. Just as an example, I get the Barents Pro and I get 50 cm extra leg length .......my waist is a bit on the larger size (hehe), six 54, but you need to understand that something is wrong when 80% of all reviews tells you the the sizing is wrong....

@@grayknight836 Yeah, that was my thought also at first. Didn´t want to cut new pants, but luckily the job they did was flawless. Didn´t notice at all that something had been done, except shorter pants of course. :D Also it didn´t affect to warranty, etc. In the end it´s best to have correct size pants you will use, than too large (or small) which stays in closet.

Good afternoon Mr.Ted, Thank you for your generosity . For all Fjall raven I bought , They’re all really inspiring me to be my best. The reason i select Fjall raven is because The product designed and produced by the highly intension with full of thoughts. I can feel the affection in this products . I can imagine how hard work behind the scenes in Every single step before and during making this Products. 🌈💕🇯🇵About Keb trousers I bought , it’s red . It’s size is so wonderful well made. The size is fit me like Fjall raven personally cut for me. It’s super cute and so attractive in spite of not wearing in the wood , I wear to Department store to buy food. The cloth and the style are unique, good quality and so attractive. It’s worth to have . The vidda ventilated pro trouser is more calm and so cool because it’s color is dark olive. There are a lot of pockets until I can’t remember where I put things . It is super handsome also . 🌈🤺💕🇯🇵🥇 Frankly speaking , I never imagined that they will be so suitable for Japanese girls, But they are . About the backpack , Singi 48 , It’s really cool the color is fantastic dark olive. Every time I see them I feel so happy. No matter how I try the strap is a little bit higher on my shoulder I don’t know how to make it fit . Should I drag that adjuster to down to the lowest point?

They DO need a Keb trouser mens short. The issue isnt the inseam itself or if you could shorten the legs, it's that the pockets and fabric between them and the belt/waist is too long as a result. A shorter pant would also purpotionatly shrink that area to a size and length that makes better sense. I am sure they will never listen to me alone, but if they did I have cash ready for a pair.

Use the Barents pro because Vidda pro long is still too short. Fjallraven says the long version is 5cm longer, but I have legsize 36 for my jeans. Then you need the raw lenght long pants like the Barents to get enough leglenght. Unfortunately Fjallraven makes all their newer models in a fixed lenght. So an extra long version of the Keb for instance would be welcome😉

Very nice gathering with friends and family and a good review of Fjällräven trousers! How everybody gets along with sizing? I‘m alway between two sizes, 50 and 52. 50 is good while standing and walking, but too snug in the waist for sitting, 52 very comfy while sitting, but too baggy and then getting too long and heavy for walks. It‘s kind of frustrating and I really don‘t understand why Fjällräven doesn‘t put any elastic material or width adjustments in the waistband. A simple belt doesn‘t solve the general feel of wearing too big/too small. Any idea or suggestion how to deal with it? Loosing weight would we one ;-)

Could be worth a shot, have a look at the website for the size chart and measure your legs just to be sure, I’m assuming you can’t go and try them out somewhere?

This is unrelated to the topic of this video but im hoping you could help my out with a problem im having with figuring out gas stoves as i can't find a clear answer anywhere. So after using a trangia alcohol stove for everything im looking to get a more lightweight option like the pocket rocket or something similar. I've just never understood the way with gas canisters, when you buy them do they come with gas and you have to but a new one everytime it runs out or is it refillable and then with what? I live in Sweden along with you so the way you do it should apply to me. Thanks in advance.

No worries friend! You buy small canisters and you buy new ones once their empty, check out primus website or Naturkompaniet, they have the gas that you will need, you can use different types of gas depending on how cold it is! :)

Yes! The have demos there so they can tell you all about it! It’s like with any other gas canister, use common sense and you’ll be fine. The once I have used has been through a lot during the hikes and it’s never been a problem or a risk. But again, common sense :)

But in my waist size, the Keb Gator Trousers only are offered in a (35" Long) length, which Fjällräven doesn't mention. I've contacted FR USA multiple times to see if FR can make the Men's Gator Trousers in a more standard (33" Regular) length and offer them here in the North American 🇺🇸🇨🇦 marketplace. Supposedly that's in the works. 🤞🏻

@@robertblaine5012, Fjällräven is fairly new to the North American market. FR 🦊 has to realize that we have a tremendously diverse population of different ethnicities and nationalities, and different body types and sizes. I'm sure eventually FR will produce different length 📏pants 👖 if enough people request them.
