My hubby refused testing in CO and retired early. He's in the hospital on a ventilator. He's now breathing on his own because God is healing him!! The nurses ALL want to be in his room!!! PRAISE GOOD!!!

libby morrish what a selfish jerk he must be. if he`s on a ventilator he aint breathing on his own. if your imaginary friend is keeping him alive, take him off the ventilator and let some one who needs it have it.

Thanking the Lord Jesus for this message, from fellow pilgrims in the Philippines. We have it tough here in the corrupt third world too, esp unvaxxed Christians with small businesses funded by bank loans. The Psalms, Hebrews, and 2 Peter are a great comfort on this short journey. Our salvation is certain, our eternity assured.

This was a stirring message. Oh if only our school children heard the true history of our country. Such lies being taught. If lies are told enough times people believe it. God have mercy on us and thank you for your mercy

Been a student of Pastor Hibbs for several years. So appreciate how he addresses current events with his messages. He's a great teacher! Not all pastors will do this. Thank you for your courage and showing us how the Bible addresses these "news" issues.

I’m s descendant of the Mayflower many times over as in my tree I’ve Myles Standish, Sarah Mullins , john Alden and some others. I’m happy about it now but I went to college later in life and the brainwashing had begun. It made me EXTREMELY sad! I felt guilt and shame. Thank goodness for truth. Now I can hold my head higher and be proud of those who came over and began this amazing country and I’m SO thankful I was able to celebrate back in the day when we could all be little Pilgrims or Indians. It makes me incredibly sad that it’s all being destroyed from within. Jesus COME!! I’ve GOT to get that book!!

When I was in the classroom just 5 years ago, taught the message of the pilgrims. Just as you just recounted Pastor Jack. Oh I wish I was still in the classroom.

I know what you mean! I had stopped teaching in 2005, but after the rioting after the 2016 election and the Presidential inauguration in January 2017, I longed to return to teaching. Finally in 2018, I was able to return to teaching.

Thank you pastor Jack! May God unstop the ears of the wicked, open the eyes that are blinded, and soften the hearts that have hardened against Him and may He bring wisdom to those who tried to do you harm... but if they're unwilling to hear His voice, I pray He administers justice to them swiftly and in such a way they cannot deny that it was He, who sits on the throne, was the one who brought them punishment... maybe that will be enough to lead them toward salvation.

LOVE this!! We are a homeschool family and true American History is a strong passion of mine!! My kids and I have learned the truth of the Pilgrims and all the details since they were in early elementary. I can't imagine what kids are being taught now. :'(

Get the DVD called "Monumental" by Christian Kirk Cameron. Fantastic video showing the Christian heritage of the Puritan Forefathers and how this all affects us today. Absolutely well worth it!

I am So Very Grateful, and So Very Thankful for the Pilgrims. Those Brave Men, and Women , Who had a Deep Love, Devotion, and Passion for God, and The Bible! They Experienced Severe Persecution for their Faith in Jesus Christ! And after Much Prayer, and Fasting, they decided to Leave their Homeland. And they traveled by ship, to a Unknown Future, and to a Unknown Land, that Became America!!

Such a uplifting hope that I need while my soul has been full of grief for the people dead and injured in Christmas parade.

My mom and I loved this message so much and we are so thankful for it it came in a very timely manner to what we are going to thank you pastor Jack we love you so much. I am so thankful for that year 1995 where you were my prophecy teacher at twin peaks Bible college :-) I am blessed

Years ago I picked up On Plymouth Plantation and read it aloud to our daughters before we visited Plymouth - an important thing to do as just as they did to us, they will be feeding you revisionist history when you visit there :) These Separatists have made a profound impression on me. I think of them often.

I am a descendant of Stephen Hopkins, but I don't think he was one of the professing Pilgrims! Most of the Pilgrims didn't think much of him. Fortunately, I am also a descendant of several of those who were Pilgrims, because Hopkin's daughter DID marry one of them. Deacon John Dunham is also one of my ancesters, and his sons married a few of the Mayflower's daughters.

Yes, as a Born again Christian there is nothing that comes into or touches our lives, blessing or trial, that the Lord has not either instigated (as with Job; it was God that brought up Job not Satan) or allowed (as with Peter when Christ said Satan has desired to sift you as wheat. Jesus only said I have prayed for you, not removed the trial). When we, with an honest and sincere heart, thank God for the trials as readily as the thank HIM for HIS blessings; we stay filled with peace and joy.

As a dutch guy and a Christian i really can relate to this message of pilgrimage and adventure. Travelled quite a bit but as a non believer. Multi Millionaires are looking to escape death and live eternal. The prevailing thought is eternal life is part of man evolutionary journey. I believe to a degree, they will find it. Revelation speaks of men wanting to die and death eluding them. Anything achieved without God's principles, always has elements of corruption. I am so thankful that the perfect designer, my Father has provided eternal life. It is good, it is very good! What a privilege to be a wittness of the truth in these prophetic times. For the online community - it would be great if there was one clear voice reciting the other part of the scriptures that the sanctuary recites. I try to keep up, it's not very clear and hard to follow.

Surrendered to His perfect love, joy and peace we gladly praise our Lord as we obey rejoicing. Psalm 100:4-5 "Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations."

If people were taught the truth instead of revisionist history, they would not be protesting or rioting, and parents would not be encouraging them. This is why I went back to teaching. I teach in private schools, and tell the students it's up to them to take the message to their peers-- with humility and respect.

I grew up a few miles from Plymouth and though I know our citizenship is in heaven, I get a little sad seeing how quickly the freedoms our forefathers journeyed and fought for have eroded. One of my ancestors came over on the Speedwell in 1632. Though I suspect he may have been one of the scurrilous variety, some of his descendants are following Jesus 😉

My ancestors in Massachusetts had a secret room built to hide during attacks during King Phillip's War. This room was used later to hide enslaved people escaping to Canada.

One of the courses that I did for my major in English in college was Early American Literature. We started with travelogues, such as the Conquistadors, and ended with Edgar Allan Poe. This included the Pilgrims. We read several sermons and polemics. Not fun, but I read all the ones we were assigned.

So good! Why cut it towards the end though?

William Bradford was the longest-serving Governor of the Pilgrim's colony. He wrote their history.

@@rhondajkestin I just learnt that he is my 11th g-grandfather a few months ago. I couldn't figure out who the parents of the generic-named "John Gates" were (as in WHICH parents of WHICH John Gates could we be talking about if we don't know him personally as we are looking at a given record, right?) until I looked for the death records of all his children, who I knew to be his via 1850 census records. Since he was married twice, bingo, his first wife is literally buried under the same headstone as his father with "wife of John Gates" inscribed lol. From there records are easy to find. Working on getting proper documentation now. :)
