I used to repair these at my dads Dodge dealership 1978...fill the canal with the color and sand it flat...I always rounded the broken paint edges before the touch up paint with a little sand paper. A heat gun speeds things up a little and helps the paint stick nicely.

Some people are horrible 😤 Someone keyed my dads dodge charger a couple years ago when I was driving it. They probably hated seeing a young dude with a SRT. Wish I knew what I know now because I at least could have made it look better. The car has been sold so that’s behind us

Thanks man! Appreciate that! So with these wheels they had some really baked on brake dust... I started with Meguairs wheel brightener ( they don't even make it anymore ) then I sprayed the furies iron remover to let it soak.. on the tires I used Turtlewax hyperfoam.. in my griots bottle 😂 in my pump foamer I had a lil nanoskin non acid wheel and tire cleaner to foam and just add some dwell time to the wheels. Last step was DIY quick beads for protection 👍👍

@@PapaSmurf918Detail I love Nanoskin wheel and tire. Great Value and just 0.5% pH less than Adams Wheel and Tire. Yeah companies have moved away from hydrofluoric acid. Look into Koch Chemie FCL. It's phosphoric and hydrochloric acid-based. Much much safer.
