I’ve been running this petal Venu set (spoon/focus/resonant guard) since Guard came out. Peeps underestimate how important defense/HP are in general, but specifically for Petal dance. You don’t need damage items if you never die and can keep fighting. Still end up with crazy damage numbers each game

I really enjoyed the editing on this video, the cut in post commentary was neat! Kinda like a midway point of the video but throughout the video instead.

I love sludge petal it keeps many fast pokemon that want to jump in, in check. and being up constantly there are just bombs everywhere.

I love sludge beam, sludge makes it very easy to hit beam and when you shred through 3-4 opponents with a massive beam it's soo satisfying

I love how you and the last mate instantly took lucario/venusaur when they saw falinks

Double stacked scizor is a raid boss for sure

Lucario needs to improve his quick maths skill at that final moment. He could have scored along with Spragels for a way bigger overcap. In a game where the scores are closer, that could have been crucial

I dont know about discounted, but parabolic charge electro drift miraidon is a pretty unorthodox raid boss

Potion, slick spoon, aoes cookie and glasses with full green and white emblems is a full on tank with pedal drain

This brought back so many memories of those of the late 2020. Venu was a beast with speed and sustain. Ever since it was nerfed and many new mons that overshines it, it didn't feel the same anymore.

Flail Snorlax can absolutely refuse to die in certain teamfights, definitely a raid boss imo.

Can you make a video about the recent slower license and Pokémon held/battle item release schedule?

I feel like, as a sylveon main, Sylveon with the same items and the mystical kiss build sounds something like a raid boss. They just wont die especially if you use potion like I do. It also just sounds fun so I might test it.

Jumping from enemy to enemy with shadow sneak and deleting them with shadow claw is so fun

Yeah Falinks is really good but can't do much against his counters. Buzzwole is definitely a raid boss, it's odd because after some small nerfs it feels like everyone stopped playing him.

I’m kinda confused on why you picked venusaur in response to an enemy falinks. Looking at the footage, the falinks minions don’t lower petaldance cooldown and it seemed they he wasn’t healing off them with Gigadrain. Edit: 6:37 nevermind, he heals off of the minions damn that’s crazy

I had a game where an enemy player had Mew in their name, and my team was telling me to ban Mew. I didn't know why at the time, all I knew is that I HAD to ban Decidueye like I always do. I picked Umbreon when I saw them pick Mew, and Mean Look turned that Mew main's whole battle upside down! I was definitely targetting them. Screw -Flanders- Decidueye.

I hate it when petal dance doesn't reduce the cooldown of giga drain on objectives same with garydos' attack speed buff on dragon breath really urks me the wrong way am I the only one

I feel like people discount dodrio. That thing in the right hands can absolutely destroy your games.

I think anergy amp is good on both builds of venu whether you play solar beam or petal dance . If you play solarbeam venusaur it's like best item that is energy amp but on petal dance it's your choice if you want to

I think Comfey is a raid boss. Not Comfey itself, but whoever is attached to it. It makes even the frailest of Pokémon unkillable. I remember at Comfey’s release date I picked it up with the temporary license and would attach it to pokemon like absol, tyranitar, Gengar, and they were completely unstoppable, and that was during launch Comfey.
