If you ask me its a great update but there is something that annoys me. They called it "Warfare evolution" but there is almost NOTHING warfare about it, its basicly a cosmetic update. Don't get me wrong i LOVE this update the new DLC is really great and interiors can become so much greater now. But they very clearly named it warfare update to attract attention as it was the most voted thing people wanted in polls. People basically voted Mustard and they gave us a ketchup bottle with a mustard label on. The ketchup is delicious, but its not mustard.

I'm loving this trend of inset blocks. It really frees up interior space by sinking elements into walls, instead. Another thing to point out about the flat atmos thruster, too, is that they cost less to build in survival compared to full sized atmos thrusters, which would definitely make them ideal for early game or cheap/slim form factor builds, like buddy bots or spy drones.

They are also really nice for when you need a bit of side-to-side dampening but don't have the weight, power, or space budget for the full size atmo thrusters. Prevents that really slow drift when you're hovering nearly-level with only downward and forward thrust for example

The new fan thrusters are amazing at creating functioning VTOLs that not only work but look good. I also use the Vector Thrust OS script for increased mobility and with that it allows me to use less thrusters without drawbacks.

Imagine using the more conistent riccochet to have your railgun inside and use slopes to move it outwards. That way you can hide it behind a lot of armor

I feel like to prevent that being abused as armor, maybe it would be a more expensive and advanced ammo, with some kind of bouncy shell that comes off after a certain amount of time or bounces, exclusive to railguns cause they need some kind of buff

Congrats, you are the first person - That I have seen - who figured out that the Holo Panel Block provides 'walk through' Holo Panels. Even Kanajashi only presented the thing with the panel on the side of the block, and Opined that maybe next there wold be a walk-through version. lol Again congrats.

YES! Great additions. I love how they spring some of these features/fixes on us. That docked grid zoom change, wheel collision, performance improvements... are my faves. But the DLC block additions build on the great Automaton additions. I'm a big fan (ha ha) of the med bay and new beds, in particular. I always see tons of people complaining about DLCs, but the update changes plus DLC blocks are a great way to give dedicated supporters high quality stuff to play with, while providing Keen with the cashflow they need to keep growing. (And anyone who doesn't want to buy this DLC can continue to use the top mods we all know and love) For comparison, I look at The Sims and Total War for their expansion/DLC strats, or other games' pay-to-win/gacha loot boxes. I'll take the SE/Arma/Rimworld model of DLCs and revenue generation any day.

Yeap, everything I have now has these thrusters.

Imagine being crashed in "cab cockpit" And now its just "cab pit"

I have such a love-hate relationship with the new aquarium block. On one hand, it's probably my favorite interior detail block in the game as it looks amazing and they even got the details of the fish right (plus they included some less well known fish, like black skirt tetras, tiger barbs and a peppermint angel). On the other hand... they mixed freshwater and saltwater fish, and as someone who's kept both freshwater and saltwater aquariums in the past that MASSIVELY bothers me - and to make it worse, they've got two different kinds of surgeonfish in there (you can generally only keep either one specimen of a more aggressive surgeonfish species or a very small number of less-aggressive surgeonfish), AND a freakin' Tiger Oscar which would eat half of what's in that tank and then beg for more (and yes, Oscars do beg).

My favorite block is the atmo fan thruster, however I dont like that it has a vanilla thruster cone on the bottom with atmo thruster "fire" coming out of it. If it is supposed to be a turbo fan blade prop then it wouldent have the flame output of a jet thruster, so I am possibly going to try my hand at modding to "fix" them to be proper turbo fans.

well as cool as all the new blocks (and they are) the camera switch monstrosity is finally fixed that made it worth it for me👍

Updated hitboxes is great. The SE devs have been on a roll, i keep buying packs from despite not playing the game in a long time to support them.

- I would love square/rectangular intake/exhaust atmospheric and hydrogen thrusters. - Also, I wish they would add a large block already that small blocks can snap to without turning into a subgrid like hinges and rotors do. - Icing on the cake would be dynamic blocks like a basic cube armor block that would allow adjusting the 8 corners individually in-game to form blocks with any angles. Also, would be nice if the corners could snap to other armor block corners,

I can be trusted with the fish, Sir. Nothing bad will happen to them.

Now I finally can make a better looking spacecraft carrier with those new atmospheric thrusters

Oh nice, I used to put cameras in my hangars for landing and docking purposes.

Not going to lie he had us in the first half

It look like the aquarium has sea and sweet water fish in one tank :D I think there are some sumatran barbels along the clown fish in there xD

I mainly see these dlcs as a way for keen to update the models of the old blocks to their modern standards without getting rid of the originals, for keeps sake

I think the design philosophy for the game has changed based on what the community wants. When the game left early access, people wanted more stuff decorate their builds, so that's what we have gotten.

so thats what the n/a was, i thought it was a mod or corrupt game files. glad to know that 😅

I hope they fixed a bug i was having with the ai blocks. when switching which ones were on with a timer, i was able to consistently make the game crash. I reported the bug.

performance was my number 1 issue with the game im so hyped they made it better gonna try it out again soon, this is the best space game ever and i hope they make space engineers 2 which modernizes the original game with better graphics, seamless lag free experience and with way more ai

i usually stop playing the game when i build huge ship then i lose it in battel its not fun rebuilding it or fixing massive ships. it will be great if i can buy player made ships from the market beside the default ships and if i can respawn my ships immediately from the market without having to build the whole thing again and sure all of that will be for game money

what i would really really love is if they add robots in the game i can buy and give them jobs like building a blue print am projecting or fixing my ship when i land but i don't think they will add that in a million years lol so i don't mind if i can just buy ships immediately from the market including my saved bule prints or other players builds or the default ones

I don't think that's a good idea. At 2k, the max combat range, the other ship is a tiny spec in the distance. At 10k, you'd barely see what is hitting you.

It shows the way up when you place it.

One very big thing that they need to add is allowing blueprints to include subgrids. Also they should allow you do complete disable the limits to the game like the global warhead limit and the PCU limit for console players.
