Yes they know urdu because of how popular bollywod is in Afghanistan and they know arabic because of their religion. Most afghans speak farsi as a multi lingual language and there are 2 languages spoken : pashto and Farsi. A lot of people also know turkish in northeren Afghanistan.

@@eliasahmadi3650A lot of afghan pashtuns can speak dari quite fluently. stop acting like afghans are the same as pakistani/indians just coz they know urdu from watching those south asian films, afghan pashtuns are fully iranic

It was a guy his name was jalaludin, he built this city and they name the city jalalabd mean ( jalaludin built the city.)

Babur had chosen the site for this city which was built by his grandson Jalal uddin Mohammad Akbar in 1560.

I'm from Afghanistan and welcome you to our beloved country, however, your tour guys are not wise enough because they know which province is safe or not for you. It wasn't safe to walk in Jalalabad streets as people don't know how to behave with foreigners. Please avoid such provinces in future. Stay safe
