He wrote a decent melody in the past but his lyrics are total shite on 99% of his songs. His brother is a better song writer, part of the reason they split up.

The only difference is where they were a new phenomenon (the whole scene was) the songs they were stealing from weren't in the mainstream enough for people to catch on. Can't hide it in the Internet age though. So tell me, are they any less of a band in your eyes because of it?

Noel may have wrote em but... honestly i cant imagine liam not singing shakermaker, digsys dinner, all around the world, supersonic, hey now, and whats the story. It just wouldnt be the same

You should watch one of latest interview to liam.. he does confirmed that is not able at all to write songs like his brother.. is a very heavy job for him. That's why once again we should understand that noel is most important part as songwriter.. but the voice and power of liam.. 🥰❤️ Please ensure this oasis reunion! 🙏

Not really. If he did want to do it, he would, why would he be bitter then? You're bitter if you can't get what you want. Even if he is bitter, he's not, but even so, it's better than being a knobhead. Noel's making the money. Liam was always the popular one. Don't believe Noel even likes that much attention. Noel doesn't need Oasis, I think he's perfectly content having a lower profile, making the music he wants. Liam needs Noel more than the other way around. Though I believe that he, having his solo career now, doesn't need Oasis neither. As much as he did before anyway.

These guys just like to sabotage any attempt at reuniting Oasis don't they. Their methods have become more passive-aggressive. Liam has gone and announced a Definitely Maybe tour as his solo act, so he can't even do it as Oasis anymore. If they don't want to frustrate their fans they should stop talking about it altogether, but that would make them less money in the end.

It’s not anywhere near the real thing without the man who wrote those great songs. Don’t favour either over the other but I just appreciate Noel’s songwriting. Mostly simple songs but catchy and easy to listen too. Can have the style , the look or whatever but they need the songs first or no one gives a shit about them

And they were shit until Noel came along and changed the name (from Rain to Oasis), and wrote some classic songs. Liam has been playing Oasis songs on his solo tours anyway, he only wants Noel there because he knows that's where the mega money is because without Liam AND Noel there is no Oasis!!
