Lots of stuff to unpack. #1) Brooch: Someone copied Bargas (and did an excellent job). Bargas wrote French words on his pieces (eau = water, jour = day, terre = earth) and "925" can be found on the reverse. Very curious about this one's origin; have a few theories. #2) Spoon: Only worth a couple bucks as a town souvenir spoon (although the hallmark is intriguing). #3) Scissors: Like you, I could not find any Winarick barber shears, which makes me think they were a promotional item for Jeris hair tonic. Could be rare. Thanks for the mysteries, I love research and will probably keep looking for info on these after I submit this comment. 😊

I love these garage sales, always have. As usual you found some very interesting items. Thanks for the entertaining video, Shane. 🤗🤗
Hi Shane, I hope you have a good weekend amigo. Thanks for the video. Love how the shop came together.
Cool stuff! Wish I had time for garage sales... Thanks for doing it for me! 👍
Very nice scores on the napkin ring and the art deco brooch pin. Acoustic foam really is expensive, so you did get a good deal on that too. Awesome yard sale hunt!
Your napkin ring is from the 1800's and is "Hand Chased" which is the way of saying hand carved for silver. They seem to be selling between 50 and 150 dollars each! Great finds today!

Yes in the metal casting/sculpting world they call it chasing when you weld two pieces together, and regrind the original texture afterword blending the weld into the design. Metal chasing the mold makers chase wax as they assemble the mold...

Always fun to see the hunt!! Thanks! ✌🏻🍻
Brilliant vid, I use the same ruler at work for making false teeth , I enjoy these yard sale adventures you post , peace ✌️ 😎🌴
Interesting finds, I like the scissors. I need to find an old pair like that, the new ones have tiny finger holes. See you on the next video.
Awesome I found some past videos I missed before so keep ‘em coming
Those scissors look like one’s that we used in beauty shop’s to cut hair. Maybe even barber shops
Hey Klesh, I like these garage sale, finds! Cool Stuff! I'm into finding old baseball cards, basketball, or football! That's treasure to me! Especially if you find some good $$ ones! Awesome content! I found you , from Dan Hurd, prospecting, I remember you guys did a caleb, with Pauly! Thank you!

Without looking into it, I know that Jeris Brand is from a lot of Barber type supplies. My mom kept cotton balls in a Jeris Glass container in our Bathroom. I believe they made either tonic or a sanitizer, as the jar had a metal tray type mechanism that was pulled up by a long metal hook type piece that came up through the center do the lid.

No bar stools, Bummer! You never find what your'e looking for , but always find some thing you need. Almost like the Stones.
Excellent finds
The scissors are barber scissors, based on the ones my mother had. The little finger curl is the give away, plus the long slender points.
So fun!
The pin is made by pressing into a metal mold . I'm a Jeweler and know someone that collects all these old molds so they can be restamped as much as he wants or sold to others to restamp. The napkin ring looks like something rolled through a mill to put the design on as many napkin rings as needed then soldered together when done. The design doesn't look carved could be etched but I doubt it.
Hey Shane! I love your video’s & im also a yard sale freak, but here we call them a garage sale! So if you ever decide to sell your beautiful Lincoln teaspoon please feel free to hit me up!! As my husband is from there!! Thank you!! Keep up the amazing work!
Nice finds 👍🏻
The U.K. spoons are more value to the eyes of the beholder. They are usually sold in souvenir shops when visiting in and around the U.K.
Great finds! I really like the Art Nouveau broche you got….At the 2nd garage sale I saw an interesting object to cook or butter corn in! 😂 It looked like it could hold 6 cobs…Darn it, I should have gone with ya🤪 Interesting stuff…GL and HH on your next adventure!🙏🏼🍀👋🏼🇨🇦

Nice. Not been many good sales around me. I keep looking but it’s all junk and lots of new junk. Crazy how many yard sales seem to be dollar store stuff too 🤔
Love it
The spoon is a typical souvenir in uk. 👍
Another great vid sir
Like #420 some cool finds! Have a great weekend!
Cool Beans/treasures, Shane. Better to sell your napkin ring as an antique, getting a lot more money, than destroying a hand carved piece of art, by melting it down. Also look up spoon collections for more info on that spoon. The crest indicates it may be from or representative of a royal household.

Yeah when I start melting and pouring silver bars and coins and gold I will not melt anything of numismatic or something that has a premium value especially with historic significance
Lincoln is about 40 minutes away from where I lived, Boston.
those are old barbers sizzors ,very cool
Nice 🍻
I prefer to go to the dump instead of yard sales. Stuff usually works better. Today, I found a really nice condition Voodoo 2.....Gainward Dragon 3000.....Paid 3€.....if it works, it sells for like 50-90€. :P
That’s a cool spone
NICE
Damn bro i love ur videos
I’ve been considering going to some yard/garage sales around my area, what should I look for?
@Klesh
Жыл бұрын
I started it by specializing in just a few items. I already had a vast knowledge of Guitar‘s so that is number one on my list. Then I got interested in coins and silver and jewelry which is easily the most profitable thing that I have found doing these. But you could specialize in books CDs albums comic books, anything that you were interested in will make it easier to remember what is valuable. Good luck
Yeah hallmarks like that were pretty common in the 1900's. Designed to fool people into thinking it was silver when it was probably EPNS
Cool
I have not found any of the Armand Bargas that say REK but have found many that have other inscriptions

@@Klesh especially the redwoods or the Brazilian woods. Now illegal to import, can bring money for those products already here. I have so many. I even found one that had a hidden carpartment. Had an ivory Buddha. Which I learned when I tried to sell it that's it's illegal to sell. I now own a piece I can't get ride of but do hope it brings me more good furtune. Hope you have good furtune as well. Silver is king in my opinion. No one will take. Silver chain off my neck. But if gold I'll be jacked. I live in California central valley. Could I send you some sample I have retrieved from a claim I'm trying get. It's on a 3rd river that's an old river that's unused. Usually one would see an old timer there cat fishing but besides that. The banks are lined with gold. Found owner of claim and willing sell to me. Found some quartz rocks with what appears to be gold. I don't trust my local geologist. But thought heck be worth sending you

@@Klesh awesome will do. I'll get the team together and see who has a better camera. Well send ya some pics and see what you think. We even have some small flakes we were able to pan out. Not big like yours but small but still a good size per foot when we do pan the area. The story behind the 3rd river is that the county where I'm at struck a deal to divert the water way into 2 tributaries. 1 for drinking water of a small town close by and the 2 for salmon. The agreement was to leave the 3 river (original river) alone after the mined the rocks from the banks for the tributaries. Now when water goes down the 3rd river big pocket of gold shimmers in certain areas. This if I'm correct was in the 40s and the claim owner gave up due to cost but came back in 90s for a bit just to stop due to operation cost to reopen. He wants it to be kept small and not be sold out to a big corporation that will destroy the land. I understand what he wants but he has yet find any interest besides me. He also hasn't publicly put it for sale. Just word or mouth. Anyways my partner is moving ahead with our bid on the claim. He wants the rocks for his cement and landscaping business and can't wait. There's tillings every where and big piles of river rock that well will be perfect in gardens right now during the drought here in California central valley

@@Klesh I'll also keep you in mind when I come across nice size woods of unique quality/personality. We run an animal rescue and have a wood/metal shop on site. We have lots burl wood. But as of now we are working with an invasive tree call the tree of heaven. We are attempting to create decent size pieces to make into cabinets. A durable and tough wood, even the splitters have trouble to split them. Even have a big burl of black walnut still alive and growing. At least 4ft circumference above ground. I plan on cutting her down next year to sell the burl.
When you find out what the hallmarks mean, let us know. The English use marks for a reason

The ruler is a Machinist tool called a scale. There is a difference a scale is far more precise and accurate that a regular ruler. Check the brand name on there depending on the name could possibly make it more valuable. They are more expensive then a ruler. But typically comes with a caliper and micrometer set. You might want to google how much a brand new one and a used one of that particular brand name. Hint check out with the Machinist tools prices new and used.
