They actually adapted the light novel version and are using the manwha art style! That’s why the beginning was different and some parts

The Ant raid in the manhwa was the fourth attempt if you remember. The 1st 3 attempts were failures. The opening raid is the depiction of one of those failed raids. So many people was confused most probably becoz it's been a very long time since they read the manhwa. I don't spoil. But since, you had already read the manhwa, dropped this info.

This wasn’t in the manwha though. It was taken from the light novel. They never showed the failed raid in the beginning of the manhwa, I have the physical copy right in front of me and I’m staring right at the first page

@@LegionzAnime That's what I stated. The only Jeju Island raid depicted in the manhwa was the fourth raid. The 1st 3 failed attempts were not in the manhwa. We only get info from various dialogues that the 3 earlier attempts were massive failures. And because the 'only' raid in the manhwa was the fourth, the 'opening raid in the anime' confused people. The 'raid in the anime' is one of the 3 failed Jeju island raids that were never drawn in the manhwa.

Haven't you seen Fate Strange Fake from A-1 yet? and Sword Art onlnie animation is even better than Demon Slayer and Fate UBW
