I think Kripp took to the heart the 4fun aspect of his HS gameplay. It's pertectly fine to enjoy the game with fun or forced builds, but at least try you know.

@@lucasvanwijngaarden670 man iith the apm that could be a full board of divine shield poisonous murlocs. you just buy everything sell one reroll buy everything sell one reroll and so on until you have enough gold for leveling you can level multiple times per turn. so just get golden brann and your murlocs with tons of minions you get through rerolls.

Murlocs are in a really strong place now. Goldrinn being six slows down beasts, so that gives murlocs more breathing room. You could generally build the Macaw comp a bit quicker than Murlocs going galactic, and beat them down before they get that big. Though the extra tier six cards this patch means you're less likely to draw Megasaur off a discover on 5, having Amalgadon in there is kind of like getting a mini-Megasaur (especially if you've got Brann) that can really help you get a good footing into the end-game.

@@kriz0826 generally if there are 3 or more players trying to force Murlocs then they usually get stuffed trying to complete with each other for triples. Either they all get knocked out by other more developed team compositions with some higher teir minions that can deal lethal damage, or one player lucks all the good triples and gets the other players Murlocs as they drop out of the game. If one player triumphs building Murlocs then the objective is to kill them before they can get Brann Megasaur. Sometimes holding one of those from a triple if there were no better options can be worthwhile to reduce the likelihood that the Murloc player gets theirs. Alternately if all the Murloc players get knocked out and if your going to get 2nd or 3rd but you know what you have isn't going to beat whatever comp first place has, then you can plan a Murloc transition as a last Yolo attempt. Then again, I have been in the Murloc vs Murloc final showdown, and you either gotta get more spores than the other guy or get a cleave to pop their shields and win the trades between your poisonous minions.

@@VictusBcb I don't get why they needed to move Goldrinn to 6. Maybe an upside is getting to five means your more likely to discover a good 6 tier beast now as. But yeah its too slow to get rolling. Almalgathingy isn't really like Megasaur at all though. It's more like a sometimes Maexxna, sometimes another divine shield poisonous Murloc, sometimes a 6/6 Rat Pack that summons 6 plants.

I think he’ll genuinely not buy anything and just roll every round while sighing at every murloc he sees, all the while complaining that the game hasn’t given him a build.

Spoiler for this video: In this video, Kripp gets... third place. His previous non-first video was seven videos ago, in OMG I HATE THIS CARD! where got 7th as Kragg. It was also his most recent bottom four video.

I read this as buffed banana at first, and I thought they hotfixed Mulka, and I was like, "yeah, good for him."

The best thing about Tess is getting Curators amalgam. Rafaam isn't alone anymore. Also, wasn't leveling with that warleader a misplay? Would have been better to go for a 3 star to get murkoc health buff. Thats usually how you play that

I've had some success basically playing afk aranna. First 2 turns just roll, turn 3 hero power is on line then just hope you can stabilize. Doubt it'd work at kripps rank but around 6k it works okay

You’d probably have better luck leveling on 2 after the buff. That way you can roll twice on 3 and get 15 chances for a good tier 2 minion. (Haven’t played Aranna yet though.)

That was a rough loss, but it's nice to see Murlocs lose :P

Tried Brann with Pogos... Had shudderwock in the game and didnt roll a single pogo on 2..

Each Amalgaddon is not "all" it functions as one of the missing tribes, similar to how amalgam would function as one of the missing for lightfang-zoobot-etc. Thus, the 3 types are "Murlocs", "One of the not-murloc tribes", and "An even different one of the not-murloc tribes". They coded 'all' the same as before, not its own tribe, but just condensing of words since they added pirates. That's why there were actually 6 adaps (not 4 as he said, but 3x2, you can see when he mouses over it)

Kripp could do a No Murloc November

I have been playing Aranna like how you play Alexstraza: You play kind of normally (but instead stay lower tier), and when the hero power activates, you just use it to stabilize and then I spam levels. Seems to work out. Honestly, it is actually pretty easy to force lategame murlocs with her.

I wonder if turn1, refresh 3 times is an ok idea...

I still think bran pogos is busted for getting 2nd or third. Just play normally without leveling past 2 until you get a full board, then spam pogos and leapers, tripling into deflectobots and micro bots. At the end you can also tripple a ghoul and some selfless to try and counter lat game builds.

Finally some post-patc vids!

I got a lucky Brann run a few days ago where I got 10 (!!!) Pogo Hoppers with an early Brann from a golden minion. Got first because no one pulled off divine shield poisonous murlocs.

I've been doing Aranna by going full refresh turn 2, then the final refresh at turn 3, hopefully getting a token / swabby in the process to level up, and start catching up from then on with better rolls. Not like it's confirmed most optimized, but it's been working out greatly for me to hit top 4 consistently.

I don't think that's a good way to look at the game. Part of what goes into overall win rate is hero selection. Getting 4th on a good hero isn't good enough, because next game you'll get a bad hero and overall you're down SR.

@@AnimeReference Agree on that notion, it's about being consistent with as many whatever heroes you're offered as possible. But personally I think it's more about learning the fundamental nuances to prevent getting bottom 4 first, rather than focusing on winning 1st whenever you get a "good" hero to compensate.

btw kripp amalgon counts itself when it adapts so when you said "adapts 4 times" it was actually 6 times

your last amalgadon got 6 adapts. muloc other amalgadon itself times 2 with brann. its not the All minion Type that matters here, its just uses one of the missing minion types, and you had 5 missing on that board. so 2 amalgadons can use up 2 minion types.

The second amalgadon adapted 6 times because it also counts itself.

Why did his second Amalgadon get 3 (x2 with Brann) is because Amalgadon will count itself as a tribe, choosing the one tribe entirely different from those you already own. That means if you have, say, 6 beasts and you play Amalgadon, he will adapt once for the beasts and once for himself. In kripp's case, his second Amalgadon counted 1 adapt from murlocs, 1 from his other Amalgadon and 1 from himself, meaning he got 3 (x2 with Brann) adapts, not 2 (x2 with Brann).

There is a risk in falling behind other players kinda like Reno because they have a hero power and you don't. Then again idk if waiting to get her online is optimal or not. She seems pretty complex for a simple hero.

Ariana is the most viable pogo hero now. Turn 1 buy, Turn 2 level, Turn 3 5 refreshes, Turn 4 onward: pogo the hell out
