S/V is the glitchiest, messiest mainline Pokemon game that Game Freak has ever released imo, and yet, competitively, it's really opened up a lot of opportunities with some reworks and giving old Pokemon access to cool new moves. I do appreciate that.

I've never played competitively, and I don't really know anything technical (calculations, secondary status effects, how to counter other pokemon, etc).
