You can easily climb out of gold with such play and hero rn, but it's just mentally taxing to play only meta hero, so some just wouldn't 19:58 is the reason why team thinks you're trolling and bad..

I WANT THE BOOP BUFF TO BE PERMENANT HOLY SHIT IT'S SO FUN It may be a skill issue, but I never even touch the ground anymore, walking is a foreign concept to me, it's like a distant memory. I glide in the air like the shittiest bird you've ever seen and it is glorious. _Imagine_ making this along with both the instakilling and booping ult buffs a permanent feature. Lucio would literally be the best character in terms of fun, no matter what else they do to him. Fuck the extra bullets when healing tho, literally useless as I have unbounded my crossfade keybind

@@marfman3654 but none of these changes touch the reasons why he's meta, which is basically just his speed boosting the team. In fact, I'd say they wouldn't affect his viability in meta much at all. I mean, they gave shatter a bunch of damage when you hit it dead on someone. What did that change do for Rein? Same with Dva and the patch that made it so calling her mech dealt damage. And Lucio just got through a patch that made him 10 times easier to hit at least. I doubt the boop will make him even as hard as he was to hit before that patch. I'd call the change for boop a QoL change for lucio's movement, the Lucio ult change under the same category as Rein and Dva's, and I guess the change for lucio ult booping everyone would a small buff to it. You could nerf his HP to 225, or take back his extra boop DMG to compensate idk.

The sym trolled their whole team and called them idiots. 100% deserved to be spawn camped.

They might break Lucio but they can never break the spirit of the Lucio Mafia. We are unbreakable

Lucios' changes are actually really good. Beat launching enemies would actually be really good when combined witht he extra temp health, making the enemy team vulnerable while also strengthening your team. It could balance out if the health lasts for less time or if there was less health given. Boop probably would be good in game, although very hard to balance. Maybe make the self boop separate from the regular boop and make you choose between launching yourself or the enemies. The changes to Lucio's attacks are amazing. I've always kinda wondered if an attack speed change would be a good thing for him when changing between healing and speed, but having more shots when healing and faster firing/less shots when speeding is far better. It promotes more of a presence when healing the team but also allows him to get quick bursts and be more of an annoyance when speeding. I think it allows for better flexibility in his playstyles and the team comps he can work with, being both dive and brawl. It also makes him more available and outright raises his skill level. I would not be against a rework like this in the future.
