Can confirm this bug still exists. She's throwing downwards and to the far left, hasn't been fixed and I've been having this issue for a while now.

BHVR the type of developer to move a barrel a few meter to the left causing blight to have 9 extra rushes

It also affects the pig because now that barrel also contains a key that allows an instant escape from any trap you apply it to. We don't talk about trapper though, he is fine. This also makes you lose collision so the lockers no longer have hitboxes.

Same with the Nurse. She has a FOV/Fatigue bug that I have now got used to

Yeah screwing with things ingrained in players muscle memory can make a pretty huge difference. It's why killers were constantly missing max range lunges against old mft. that 3% difference was enough.

So I'm not crazy!! I was playing her consistently a couple days ago and it seemed like overnight I just started doing horrible out of nowhere. I couldn't land a hatchet to save my life, it was super discouraging but now I know why 😂Thanks behavior! 👍

@@clumpypianoNah, but they’re certainly bad. Basically any triple A game devs are worse. CoD was absolutely awful a decent but back from what I’d heard. BHVR just has a poor ideology, but they are certainly not bad devs

I don't even care about the gens anymore, I have a build to be a kill machine, especially with the huntress

I thought I was going insane! My hatchets weren't landing correctly, and I kept missing all the hatchets that I normally hit! Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention, Coconut! You're the best! 😊

the incompetence of BHVR never ceases to amaze me

because the hatchets starts flying from the low left it is so much harder to peek and shoot from the left side or just throwing over close range obstacles in general. Like if you go to a doorway and peek with about 30% screen coverage on the left your hatchet will still collide. Meanwhile if you peek from the right you can almost cover 60% of the screen and still throw past the object. I hate it so much . I think it also says a lot that a 9k hour player like Coco has to basically flick every shot now which is so hard to do if you want to pick up Huntress as a beginner

nah, there's already fov slider disguised as a perk, the patchnotes said something about a minor animation bugfix on huntress, that's what broke the aim probably.

I think people also didi it to Blight with a slightly better colision on bigger trees in places like yamaoka and red forest. it is barely noticable but it is there.

a lot of people are saying that this bug or accidental quirk was caused by FOV testing or some backend. but this most recent hotfix they attempted to fix some small animation bug with her throwing arm, quoted "Fixed an issue that caused The Huntress' arm to glitch when throwing a hatchet while looking down." probably just messed with the positioning of the camera or throwing arm and misaligned it somehow.

One of the best Huntresses to do it no question, but why do you have a stroke every time you flick XD

I imagine that the new fov slider requires a lot of backend systems to be changed and some of those changes are already in live, one of them causing this issue

Crosshair works fine at long range so that doesnt change but mid you have to ajust or youll hit rocks and trees like you did 😊

The trick to broken huntress is to instantly throw the hatchet.

BHVR changes lighting causes pig to get nurfed,trappers traps spawn out of the map,some random freddy addon got buffed and them when they finally fix all that the lighting didn't even look good (still love this game)

Behaviour really be programming on paper and scanning it with a 2003 Nokia just to eat the Nokia and whatever they shit out afterwards goes into the game

I knew something was wrong thought I was paranoid

I thought it was always aiming down and to left, because I made a custom Crosshair from paper and a string which is centered in that area. I rarely play Huntress, so maybe I just don't have the muscle memory for it.

When Huntress's aim gets changed everyone goes bonkers but when Clown's got changed a few months ago nobody noticed it.. Feels Circus man..

So something I noticed (no proof besides this video so its mostly speculation) but it appears as if the hatchets are starting from Huntress's hands (on the left) and then they move towards the center of your screen as they fly. It's very slight in the demonstration you do at the start of the video, but I think it's noticeable. It's kind of like how Trickster's knives work, so maybe they accidently made a change to both projectiles?

I played Huntress yesterday and it just wasn't going well, like I kept hitting windows and pallets where hatchets usually flew through, so I thought "eh I must be off with my aim today". And now I see THIS. Thank you for validation, I didn't lose the skill or gone crazy. Barely noticeable change yet such a huge negative impact.

well it does make some sense, as she throws the hatchet with her left arm

'Fixes' like this make me think Behaviour is like my Chinese company I work for in China. "He's doing what? Yeah put a stop to that. I dunno, change his contract."

There’s another broken mechanic that’s widely known yet unused in this way.

They had to have done something with projectile trajectory or hitboxes because Victor and PP Head have weird up/down inconsistencies

The fact that the game can get messed up like this and people can't even be certain it wasn't intentional... I do not feel encouraged to come back to DBD.

Now I know why i've been missing all my hatchets! As a Huntress main, I was easily getting 3-4k consistently prior to the Chucky update and then all of a sudden I was missing shots and hitting things I wasn't even aiming at. Now it makes so much sense that she's broken. I hope they fix her soon, I miss playing Hunty mummy.

That's how it works... like in FPS games the gun is the to right, shooting towards the centre of your screen. And due to the developer's spaghetti coding the hatchet hitbox as a sphere, it won't make any difference. I think you're convincing your mind it's different but it's actually the same. it's been over 5 years since they discussed hatchet hitboxes, also addressing that it's a survivor hitbox issue (which we all knew) and yet they still haven't thought of it. But this could be the change we see next year with huntress... I hope. For those who don't know what I'm talking about, there's a reddit thread and someone left a long comment perfectly describing the issue along with clips and imagines from that dev livestream 2018.

Idk because they seem to enjoy braking things and making us miserable, first we got the broken at perks, then we have the trickster getting gutted and now the huntress has been messed with… I just started learning her too and was getting used to playing but now that you mention this I realized why I have not been able to hit most hatchets even tho I aimed like usual. Such crap

I main Huntress and she’s been better than ever. Addons I use are “Flower Babushka & Rose Root.” If are an expert with her hatchet throws, then these add ons are for you. Idk what everyone’s talking about…her being broken 😲😂
