As an American and Habs fan,I was conflicted. Wanted the U.S. (Caufield) to win,but also rooted for Slaf. In the long run,I think that Slafkovsky’s improvement and adjustment to the NHL game is the most important. Caufield will do what Caufield does. I feel good about this team. Not finished and polished yet, but, that will happen.

No a vieme ako to dopadlo. Svedi brali nakoniec zlato a my sme mohli akurat zase plakat, aky je hokej nespravodlivy. Nasi hraci hrali klucove pozicie v timoch NHL, prve utoky/obrany, boli tam najlepsi hraci. (Bondra, Stumpel, Hossa, Gaborik, Demitra, Satan, Zednik, Svatos, Bartecko, Chara, Visnovsky, Suchy, Meszaros)

Caufield started on the first line. But got bumped into lower lines. Him playing for USA is so bad! It exposed him because he looks extremely tiny out there and looks like a liability. And the fact their not using him properly on top of that is even worse for him. He should have stayed back.and heal his shoulder.
