Never pirate games no matter how much you don’t like the company, that money is still used to pay people who then feed their families, by not paying for a game you are literally stealing food from a babies mouth.

​@@manemperorofmankind8119 Whether that money is used to pay employees rather depends on the company, if it is a big company then a very large percentage of the money goes to the top layers of the company and it's shareholders, who are plenty rich and don't need my money. If it is a small indy company then all the money goes to the actual people working on the game... I don't pirate games, but your comment shows you believe in an idealized capitalist society that is not how the world works. Also, "literally stealing food from a babies mouth" means someone physically removes food from a babies mouth without consent. Which is not what someone does when they pirate games... You need to look up the meaning of the word literally, as do most people that use the word...

@@manemperorofmankind8119 I would say pirate it to make sure it isn't a piece of garbage hut usually only with bigger developers. If the game is good then pay for it. Indies you should probably just watch reviews first.

I could barely pull off the final mission in the campaign at 100% and first you are doing that mission at 800% with self imposed limitations and now this impossible map. You didn't exaggerate, you're just too good.

Very impressive win. Alot of great recoveries and some impressive decision making.

Since the game launched I always end up coming back to play it and to watch your gameplays, hadnt found this one til today, and this 2 hours were the more entertaining from the hundreds of hours ive spent on ur channel, insane map and insane player, congrats!!

I have over a 1,000 hours into this game and I'm dumfounded watching this. I've died trying to play this map more times than I died in Elden Ring and you make it look easy. Amazing job working those tight spaces with the rangers.

OMG. That was truly magnificent.

I have finally beaten Caustic Lands max population 100 days for score factor of 490%. Getting Titans out early worked for me, luring the giants onto my defences before the final wave and then using them as a QRF to plug hotspots worked well, and I paused the crap out of it so am super impressed you did 80 days with no pauses!

I like those copy protections that render your game useless by altering the rules. the fact that this game spawns random zombies in your houses resembles to me the blacksmith of settlers 3 - when the people called the service line and stated "game doesnt work, blacksmith only creates pigs" the service guys knew exactly what was going on. caught red handed!

@@greyhunter3271 Jepp, and when the copy protection collided with your BIOS, you got the same error, being called a thief by the hotline, sending in your receipt and after a few weeks, getting a floppy disc containing copy-protection free exe. There is a reason why those systems were no longer used ...

@@greyhunter3271 In theory you could still play the game because you could get weapons from religious gifts. If you were to do it, it would be much harder but possible. Back then some shady places sold pirated copies on burned discs so you could end up with a pirated copy even by buying the game.

Very nice work. I watched a few where you had some really good starting maps and was wondering how you would handle the average crap setup, but this one sucked and you killed it.

Zombies in waves take the shortest path towards your command center, so you can predict where they will strike. If they see some buildings on their way they will diverge. So I made sure the buildings where far enough away from their path

I don't know how you don't pull the Mutant earlier than you did. I always seem to pull those dudes from across the map with just a few soldiers. This was some incredible play either way though.

Does this game offer sandbox mode where you can play at your own pace and spawn waves as you want them? It is my dream to play a zombie game like this but be able to control the waves so I can build and be ready and then spawn as many monsters as I want and mess around with game mechanics

The game does have a map editor. I haven't tried the editor myself so I don't know how good it is or if you can really mess with the spawn waves, but ability to create custom maps does exist.

Advanced mills are really inefficent. They have a high upkeep cost that is best avoided except for some specific situations.

I don't know why, it might be something on recent update... But at day 20 on caustic lands, the doom town all the sudden loose all their residence into a never ending wave. I do have legal version, so I know that's not the issue :/

Master have you tried a Beholder First challenge? Sounds like you hate it so much that it could be fun to watch :))

For all this advanced tech this world has they seem to have no idea what bombs or missiles are or any large explosive they could drop on the hordes lol

I've been trying to play without pausing on 300% difficulty and I consistently find myself where you are ... on like day 30 I've struggled and lost half an army ... what blows me away is 30 days later, despite continuous waves, you get your economy so good and build wonders... i can maybe make it to final wave only to get obliterated. This video was just amazing... you are ridiculous

Bind show healthbar to a numpad key number. Press that key and numlock (while numpad is activated) at the same time to always show the health bars.

Now, having seen the whole damn thing: I haven't seen so many (increbidly skillful) hail maries, ever.... It was a close thing, about every 5 minutes. As someone who plays the game since its release: my deepest respect. (I'm good, but I'm a pausing guy...)

That was like 300 at the end! Snipers holding the choke point. It was incredible

Chokepoints - This map

i have very hard seed of random 80days caustic lands map on full difficulty i wanna you to try play this ^^ because this particular map is insane.... very very hard ^^ can i send you somehow this map ?

*I have watched a LOT of your videos for this game and have come to the conclusion that either the difficulty level that you are playing at is too easy (unknown what level setting you are using) OR if you are on the hardest difficulty setting then you are just too good of a player. I have yet to see any close games or maps in which you barely won the game. Please let me know details so we can figure this out! We want tougher maps!* **UPDATE! After watching this map I am VERY happy to see this one actually provided some serious challenges with actual setbacks, give and takes and even a few close calls! THANK-YOU! We definitely want more challenging games like this one. The tougher THE BETTER!*

Difficulty level is usually in the title (900% is max for survival) or for custom maps you can see me pick it at the start. Most are played on maximum difficulty.

HMMMM this is very interesting to me. I'm working toward getting the no-pause achievement, and I've been focusing almost entirely on speed and efficiency. As I watch, I'm noticing your resources pile up early game when you could be using them for something sooner, not microing units when waiting for buildings to finish or for resources, things like that. Now that I see this, I understand just how incredibly impactful knowledge and strategy is in order to achieve victory. I think I played too much Starcraft; you can just out macro and micro your opponents and kill them because you're faster.

I feel like this map might be easier for the max difficulty because they can’t flood you from all sides.

gg, but just a question, i download the game, and cant find the load button or save button ! is that part of the game or a bug or an error ? thanks

It's part of the game for survival. You can continue a game if you exit but you can't save/load freely.

Do the doom houses produce zombies if you don't attack them? And do they have a finite number of Zombies, or will they continue to spawn forever until you kill the house? Amazing skill though.

There is a limited amount of Zombies in a doom town. Making noise or attacking forces them to spawn. If they aren't empty at the final wave they all spawn and come for you.

45:04 that is very weird... my soldiers can't outrun harpies, they get hits every three to four tiles... how do you survive THREE harpies with only minor injuries?

If you have units nearby and some space to build you can hold with some emergency walls and towers which is what I actually did for the next wave. Additionally if you know the map layout by scouting or looking at wave patterns you can predict where waves won't hit since they take the shortest path to the command center. As seen in the final wave where I leave that side open since it won't get attacked.

1:31:16 Why do you put an awning, a house of level 1, when you can put houses of 3 levels? They are more profitable and immediately put them - cheaper, than consistently improving.

He didn't have stone for alot level 3 and was probably saving the stone for walls or towers. level 1 is good for conserving resources while still getting more colonists immediately.

Why am I watching this? 😹 Soliders shouldn't have infinite ammo and should rest every 2 hours and lunch breaks and sleep 8 hours per day. 😈
