1977 - wow, Star Wars is fresh and new. To become real to the kids, everyone wanted an action figure to imagine with. 2017 - who wants a dumb doll that will be outdated tomorrow? I get more fantasy from my smart phone role-playing and can instantly share my dreams with friends everywhere without having to go out and get dirty. My phone goes with me everywhere and doesn't clutter up my room.

I saw a shelf at K-Mart with a bunch of Star Wars figures. Me being interested at the sight of Star Wars, I walk over. They were all 75% off, so I started checking them all out. Kept looking... And looking... And looking... It was all of the female characters. Nobody was buying them, so they were being sold for $5 a piece just to get rid of them all.

Jar Jar pratically disappeared after the first movie anyway (he pratically had only a cameo in Episode II and III) while the characters from the sequel trilogy keep becoming worse at each chapter. Also Jar Jar may be annoying but he had a purpose for the plot in both the movies in which he appears. Rose? You can scrap that arc completely and nothing would have change. Holdo? She could have tell her plan and everything would have went fine.

They've gone far beyond doubling down, they have flipped the table and set the room on fire. They have put pressure on every critic and person involved with Disney or it's owned subsidiaries. They are burning the franchise down to the ground in worship of their own egos and that of new fan base worship. This is the same reason I keep getting beat over the head that Black Panther is the first black super hero film, and that they need 300 to 400+ critics, 3 TIMES the critics to offset a few bad reviews, plus, RT now does not take into account any score of 3/5 and below. Hollywood is trash! Most film reviews you have maybe 50 to 100 critic reviews, but Black Panther has over 300 fucking critics, Last Jedi has over 360! FUCKING CRITICS keeping it afloat, it's shit! These movies are pure shit! They cry about bloating score bombing when they are doing it themselves and just ban everyone with an opinion, only the critics matter.

Uncle Timo: I don't think it's that cut and dry but Rotten Tomatoes has said that they would remove any "fake" black panther reviews. Unless a Critic openly said something that's not in the movie in their review I don't really see how you can tell that a review is fake. Sounds to me like they're opening the door for potential bias.

+ Serge Handfeld Might have to wait a while. Hasbro is still negotiating with Kathleen Kennedy to use her likeness for the toy. It's really fantastic that Kennedy was able to arrange a cameo appearance in TLJ, although how they got her old teats to produce any milk is a mystery.

Gender Studies Peg Warmer! I am a crazy collector, but have no interest in this action figure at all. The character was crap and in no way do I feel "threatened" by female characters in Star Wars. Would have preferred Amidala in her Senate Gown, or even Shmi, over the chick with the purple merkin on her head!

I need roes in the first order gear to go with my finn.

I'm not sure it's the biggest toy Hasbro has ever made because last time I checked the USS Flagg was 7 feet long.

You can't even call TLJ a 'feminist' movie because there simply weren't any powerful female roles. Leia spends most the movie in a coma, Holdo wears evening gowns into battle, Rose stopping Finn's sacrifice is strategic idiocy & Rey thinks whiney psychopathic Kylo is boyfriend material. It had a lot of women, but they were idiotic or unconscious.

Holdo is one of the worst movie leaders of all time.

I guarantee you that a Jar Jar 6 inch figure will sell than this.

Comes complete with micro aggressions and triggering features so you too can get offended at anything.

tremor230 I don’t think irony is his thing. And hey, when he starts talking about the Millennium Falcon having a lame cockpit, or how they blew it on Han Solo’s action figure, I don’t need irony, I love his honest criticism as-is. He actually reminded me how much I used to love those little details in the original movie, and in the toys that sometimes, often, used to capture that. But that’s why I can’t understand his feeling out over an action figure who doesn’t do much. I mean, Kenner was always about making toys of characters like the Gamorian Guards or the bald guy with a robotic power donut, or the elite Imperial Storm Troopers who only appeared in one scene, like, holding a space spear as Luke walked by them for a split second on his way to confront the Emperor. I thought we all LIKED that every single character was represented. Hell, fans made Boba Fett a favorite because he was initially a toy WITHOUT an appearance at all! But he seems to be breaking rank with that idea because, ew, Anita Sarkeesian exists.

Screw it. I'm saving my money on finding a Thrawn figure. It _angers_ me that my local stores barely stocked on Rebels stuff. And Thrawn's a much-loved character; he was obviously going to sell out faster than Han shot Greedo.

Josh, The Black Series has a Thrawn figure. 6 inch line. The face sculpt isn't super great but it's better than decent.

That failed miserably. Don´t get me wrong, i don´t claim to know more about her, i can just go by what i saw in the movie. She was dismissive and condecending, when the crew needed an inspiration. A leader like that is a failure.

This is really an "inaction" figure.
